Season 15 SHL Entry Draft: Where are they now!?
The Season 15 Simulation Entry Draft happened on Wednesday, September 4th, 2013 at 7:00PM EST.

The GMs gathered in and around picking up phones making minor trades and well not much else. The Draft went along fleuntly but every person asks the question some time down the line: Where are they now?

The Toronto North Stars Select: Logan Court 484+4 TPE

Logan Court was hyped up to be the next best thing for the SHL, being projected 1st overall in the SMJHL and SHL. Logan was said to win Rookie of the Year and even go on and become multiple Challenge Cup Champion. Well where is he now?

After being drafted by Toronto Logan started out strong but soon after started lagging behind. Logan Court is now currently on the Dragons Team but isn't providing much help. Scoring only 7 goals and racking up only 7 assist giving his total points on that season 14. Court is also a -6 and only averages about 12 minutes a game. 4th liner at best. It's sad as a promising career soon turned sour and now is talked about one of the biggest 1st overall busts in SHL. There is still time for improvement but not very much.

Edmonton Blizzard Select: Mikhail Krivokrasov 722+1 TPE

Krivokrasov better known as Krivo selected 2nd overall was also promised big things. He signed a contract to the Blizzard and lived out that contract. When he hit Free Agency he signed to a new team, The Texas Renegades, thinking it will better his career after winning two Challenge Cup with the Edmonton Blizzard.

Krivo this season is still on the Renegades and is giving the team a better change at winning the Cup, a good veteran presence who also helps rookies put up 9 goals and 23 assist this season putting his point totals to 32 on the year. Krivo was also a high +21. Krivo helps the Renegades out on the 1st and 2nd line depending on what the Teams game plan is each game. Right now Texas is on the hunt for their 2nd Challenge Cup.

West Kendall Platoon Select: Barnabas Hoff RETIRED

Hoff being selected at 3rd overall was the right choice for the Platoon. He was in their opinion the next franchise player that they needed to stay strong. Sadly this ended when Hoff took a early retirement and left the league never coming back again. To this day no one knows where Hoff went but there was that hope that he could have been something big, but became another Bust.

Los Angeles Panthers Select: Victor Helstrom 388 TPE

Helstrom was selected 4th by the Panthers. A great pick indeed as he was projected to go atleast Top 3. He was a strong player who knew what it takes to play in the big leagues, he had on ice presence that other players in the draft lacked at the time. Helstrom plays hard and is always trying to be his best.

Helstrom currently plays for the Winnipeg Jets and has put up good numbers. He put up 6 goals and 24 assist bringing his point totals up to 30 on the year. He blocked 56 shots putting up a good defensive effort on the ice as well. Helstrom looks as if he will continue his dominence into the playoffs as the Jets are now currently taking on the Renegades after wiping the floor with the Riot in Round 1.

Texas Renegades Select: Lionel Byrde 900+3 TPE

Byrde was selected 5th overall by the Renegades after some of the players disagreed with who they would select, but after it was all said and done, Byrde was in a Renegade sweater. He possesed a high physical game as a Power forward before ultimately turning into a Two Way Forward. Byrde won the Rookie of the Year award in S16.

Byrde still currently plays for the Renegades and this season he put up 17 goals and 24 assist bringing his season total up to 41 points. He was a +16 on the year bringing his career total into the +'s. Byrde still lacks a Challenge Cup and now he is in the playoffs going against the Jets to make the finals. He is hoping that this is the Season he can add the Challenge Cup to his resume.

Las Vegas Kings Select: Mikhail Kladno 571 TPE

Kladno a former teammate and friend of Byrde was selected by the Kings now known as the Seattle Riot. Kladno was rated very high by players and scouts around the league after joining the SMJHL late into the season. Some say he was overrated but others said he was rated at the right spot. The Riot soon traded Kladno to the Chiefs after lazyness set in and Riot wanted more people who were willing to work.

Kladno now plays for the Minnesota Chiefs and this season he was announced as Co-GM of the team to see if he can help the team make it into the playoffs but the team lacked the skill falling to last place. Kladno put up 9 goals and 19 assist this season leading his team in points with 28. He was a -16 which is pretty high compared to the rest of his team. Kladno put up 160 hits showing he still plays a Physical Game. If Kladno would he be able to perform better and maybe even put uo 40+ points? Who knows.

West Kendall Platoon Select: Jim Lahey 722 TPE

Lahey a big drunk and gritty defenseman was exactly what Platoon needed years to come. Lahey was selected 7th overall but had the chance to go higher. Platoon was happy with this pick as he would help platoon make the playoffs. When Lahey hit Free Agency there was no looking back as he left West Kendall to persue the Championship that he deeply wants.

Lahey now plays for the Renegades. Lahey who plays on the 1st line with Partlow put up 9 goals and 19 assist. Bringing his point total of the season to 28. He was a +11 and blocked 56 shots. He not only helps the Renes win he helps the growth of rookies as he helps out as Co GM of the St Louis Scarecrows. Could this be the year where Lahey wins the Challenge Cup and 4 star? Who knows?

Las Vegas Kings Select: Jesse Jacek-Kix 451 TPE

The Kings selected Jesse hoping to have him develop into a good player adding either depth or even becoming a franchise player. But that did not come into play as he lacked in IQ to play in the big leagues. He didn't last long on the Kings/Riot.

Jesse now plays for the Dragons. With the Dragons this season he put up 1 goal and only 5 assist. He only had 6 points. He plays a minor role on the team after only playing an average 10 minutes a game with them.

Manhattan Rage Selects: Ezekiel Cook 277 TPE

Cook was also hyped up to be the next great player of the SHL. Manhattan drafted him hoping he would be just that. He was supposedly one of the better players in the draft and Manhattan was all smiles when he dropped to 9th overall. They selected him knowing exactly where to put him.

This season Cook still continues to play with the Rage but lacks skill to play anymore than a 3rd/4th line role. He scored 4 goals and only had 6 assist. He had only 10 points this season after playing a HIGH 21 minutes a game. With all those minutes you'd think Cook would have more than 10 points. Another player who was hyped up to be but became little to nothing.

Edmonton Blizzard Select: Riko Muerto 1027 TPE

Muerto a strong player on his skates was exactly what the Blizzard needed. The Blizzard went on to win 2 cups with him. Muerto also now GMs the Kelowna Knights and is rated as one of the greatest draft picks from his draft. A Great pick indeed for the Blizzard.

Muerto still continues to play for the Blizzard and is now their Franchise player. They missed the playoffs this season but Muerto and the Blizzard fought until the last game. Muerto put up 21 goals and 19 assist bringing his Season total to 40 points. Although a -8 that still doesn't set him back from being one of the All-Time greats. Scouts say that Muerto will finish his Career as a Blizzard and will one day even become GM of the team.

Winnipeg Jets Select: Paavo Lepisto RETIRED

Winnipeg decided to pick Paavo with the 11th overall pick in the S15 draft. Paavo didn't impress as he soon died off and never played in the SHL again. This season he didn't play and may have just left the league never to return again.

West Kendall Platoon Select: Jermaine Tennyson 1174 TPE

Tenny who was the top rated goalie in this Class was what WKP needed. Another goalie to soon take over. They had him set and knew he was the future goalie of WKP. Tenny was a great all around goalie in Juniors and he impressed many scouts. People were hoping to snag him in a later round as a goalie doesn't usually go in the first round but WKP decided that it was the right time.

Tenny no longer plays for the Platoon but now plays for the Wolfpack instead. He played 43 games this season winning 21 and losing 19. His Percentage was only .898 and his Goals against was 2.56, decent. Now however they are currently in the 2nd round of the playoffs fighting to go to the Finals and try and win the Challenge Cup! It will be a hard task but Tenny himself could win the series for New England and everyone knows that.
