"Once you switch, it is final. You can't switch to Norway for just a few years and then switch back later on. If you switch now, it is final until your player retires."

It literally says it in the OP and in the rulebook. I am sorry, but it's not like this was some hidden rule. I'm not sure why people even assumed you could.
