Kosice, Slovakia - Marek Jurco was born on January 15th, 1993 making Marek 19 which is still eligible for the College and NWJHL. Living in Slovakia was tough for this young star. Playing with older age groups all the way up until Juniors. He then left Slovakia and went to North America to play there. When he was 17, Marek joined College Hockey at the University of Michigan. Marek got promised top 6 minutes and would have a chance to finish schooling. He hopes to finnish his first 2 years in Business and Marketing. During his season Marek was placed on the first line and was playing fantastic.

Frozen 4 Tournament

Michigan now goes into the Frozen 4 and Turns out they made it to the finals against Yale. And defeated them 5-1. Jurco had 3 goals a 1 assists. He was also Tournament M.V.P.
