GAME 18

:force: vs Falcons

Detroit opened up the score board thanks to the second year monster Clay Parker. Parker leads the league and points and doesn't seem to be slowing down. The proved to be the only goal scored in the first period. Detroit kept the pressure up and were rewarded with yet another goal provided by Nils Wahlstrom. Nils Wahlstrom scored his second goal of the season on the power play. Special teams seemed to be what determined this game as Detroit found themselves being called for 2 penalties. Regina didn't fail to capitalize as Edge Ochocinco found rookie Jigsaw McGraw. That was his second of the year. The very next penalty call against Detroit found Regina once again scoring to tie the game up going into the third period. All goes scored in the second period were off the power play, In the third Detroit decided to take back the lead and never look back. Clay Parker continued his fine form with his second goal of the night. Yet another goal that was scored on the power play. Regina finding hard to stay out of the box. With about 5 minutes left in the game Bubba the fuck... sorry the Nuck scored his 4th and it wasn't on the power play!

GAME 19

Whalers vs Knights

Either both goalies agree to let a shit ton of goals in when these two pay or they just really don't like each other. Another high and exciting game here. Surprisingly no goals were scored in the first period as the Knights out shot the Whalers 8-2. The second period revealed 2 goals. That ninja Shinji Kudryashov scored a dirty backhander to put the Whalers up one. Sean Leonidas replied two minutes later with an easy top shelf goal. Leonidas scored the opener in the 3rd period to make it 2-1 Knights. after a unsuspected time out call from the Whalers coach the game drastically changed. Vancouver scored two straight goals and didn't seem like they were done. Knights rookie Arthur Nsenga got one back off a feed from Leonidas on the power play. That only made Vancouver play even better as they went on to score two more goals. Returning Whaler Sterling Knight scored his second of the game followed up by rookie Pierre-Luc Laflamme. Shot were 34 to 23 Knights.

GAME 20

:impact: vs Scarecrows

Believe in Jack the robot! Jack the robot MacLean to be precise. The Impacts robot opened up the score on the power play. St. Louis couldn't believe they allowed a robot to score on them so decided to turn up! The crows score 3 unanswered goals in the first period alone. Sasha- Alexei Smirnov scored first followed by Barb Lahey and Paul King. The crows were playing a very fluid game out there on the ice. Every time they had possession of the puck it looked like they were about to score. In the second period though they faded a bit but still played well. The impact started the second period on the power play. Rembrandt Q. Einstein made a smart move by faking a shot and laying it off to Chris Fekete who took a shot that was deflected in front by Cameron Gantz 2. Game went silent after that and continued to be silent in the 3rd period. Crows take it thanks to there fire storm in the first period.

RESULT:
:impact: -2
Scarecrows -3

3 stars
1 - Paul King (STL)
2 - Cameron Gantz (MTL)
3 - Siegfried Slayer (STL)
