Hey everyone!

Need to make some money and I want to make my first media appearance a big one so please ask me anything and everything! I would like to do this all the way up to the draft, looking forward to it!

I have nothing but love and respect for my fellow Austrian teammates, hopefully we can actually play together next game! Who knows, maybe we will get drafted by the same SHL team and tear both that and the IIHF up! We will likely be enemies for one more season back in Juniors though unfortunately, but clearly I love you enough to steal your media idea

I am very excited for the draft. There is just something very thrilling about the unknown ahead of all of us. Before the SMJHL draft I was still getting used to the site and was enjoying exploring everything, so I was more just going with the flow when it came to the draft. I didn't really know anything about the teams, what it was going to be like, or what was expected of me. This time around though I know what I need to do next season, and I am anxious to do that for whichever teams picks me on Tuesday. I would definitely say I am more excited this time around.

I do not know where this draft class stands relative to other years in terms of depth, but I firmly believe we have some serious star power at the top of our draft. There are the future stars in Mariusz Kwik, Pierre-Luc Laflamme, Bubba Nuck, and Nils Wahlstrom who will be highly sought after. Once you throw in the two recreates and an SHL commissioner who is also draft eligible I would like to be realistic about it. The one thing I don't really know is the value of goalies in an SHL draft, will they go early? I'm not really sure. I think I can confidently say I will be somewhere in the 8-20 range. Yes I know that is a pretty big range though lol.

I know it is a pretty big cliche but I will be happy with whichever team picks me. I will likely play another season with the Crows to further my development before actually playing for the team, and the landscape of the SHL could be pretty different than it is now by then. That being said, I am a pretty competitive person and would like to Challenge Cup as soon as possible so contender would of course be ideal. That would work out well for me too because I am perfectly fine with a depth role. If I had to list teams, and in no particular order I would say: Texas, Seattle, Hamilton, New England, Toronto. If I don't stop at 5 I will end up listing all of them as I will play my heart out for any team.

Honestly I didn't follow the SHL regular season as much as I maybe should have. I was just too busy with the Crows and I prefer to only focus on my team during the season. That being said, once we were eliminated I did tune into the Challenge Cup Finals and was very impressed with the Texas Renegades. I was really impressed with Byrde's leadership, and that is an aspect of myself that I am certainly seeking to improve next year to help the new rookies. I was also really impressed with Liam Kinsler, especially on the draw and in the defensive zone. I pride myself on a 200 foot game and to see it contribute to another championship for Texas was really nice to see.

As I mentioned above I pride myself on playing a complete hockey game, all 200 feet of the ice. I feel I did a good job of that this year considering my role on the Crows. I was also unexpectedly playing center this year so I really had to focus and work on my faceoffs more than anything almost immediately. I would like to take the same defensive mindset to the SHL. One gripe I did have with my play this year was my playmaking. I finished with 10 goals and 9 assists. If I may draw a comparison to the NHL I would say Marian Hossa is the player I am modelling my game after, or Pavel Datsyuk if I end up playing center.

This past season I would say my play was very similar to a guy like Sean Couturier. A depth center with a solid 200 foot game. He has a huge presence on the penalty kill as well as the faceoff circle, both are things I prided myself on this season. In addition he usually gets more goals than assists, and is not a huge force on the power play. Both of those things I am hoping to work on for the next season, and as I said above the players I wish to model myself after looking forward would be Marian Hossa and Pavel Datsyuk.

I am happy to say I have no expectations for next season. I am just going to report to whichever teams drafts me with an open and eager mind ready for the future. I'm the kind of person who is always eager to learn from my more experienced peers. As for playing in Junior or not next year it is the same thing. I am open to whatever my new GM thinks is best for my development. I had an amazing time in St. Louis this year and it would be an honor to win them a 4-star cup next year if I am sent back down. If I am asked to produce in the SHL immediately I will meet that challenge headfirst with everything I have.

I'd like to give a big congratulations to Banana, who was on my line for a large portion of the season, for being the highest touted prospect coming out of St. Louis this year. You know the city and all of the Crows are proud of you. I'd also like to thank Nikitin and Satan, my assistant captains, for their stellar leadership this year. The fact that 3 of the top 10 draftees (ranked by tpe) are crows is largely due to those two. Finally, I'd like to shout out very loudly to Pentecost in the hopes that he will hear me and return to us soon.... a guy can dream I suppose.

Some combination of stellar, superb, and special. Everyone from the GM's to the send downs to my fellow rookies were nice, helpful, and a lot of fun. When I was asked to play center instead of my natural wing I was pretty worried because I didn't think my faceoff skills were quite at the SMJHL level. Asking around the locker room I learned exactly what I needed to do, and how much of it to do. I can proudly say I ended the year greater than 50% on the dot as a result of their help.

Honestly I take a lot of the blame myself. As our second round draft pick I am sure much more was expected of me. I didn't find out about part of our training facility (pbp/pgs) until much too late in the season, and the ground I lost there was noticeable for sure. I have no one to blame but myself for that mistake, and can only change my future. Which is exactly what I plan to do.

As I said earlier I try to limit my expectations and focus more on what I need to do to further myself as a person and a player. I am realistic however and know I will likely be back in St. Louis as I have much growing still to do. I would be honored to mentor our rookies next year as I was this year if given that chance. I'm glad you said "had to" because if given the choice I would be right back in St. Louis in a heartbeat. If I was forced to pick it would be terribly difficult to turn down a 4-star cup, so I would have to say the Knights.

Honestly, probably a 9. Yes I was very disappointed we lost the series with Detroit, we all were, but life goes on and I learned an awful lot this past season. I'm hoping to ramp it up higher next season for sure. For example, this is my first media post and I am enjoying it so I see myself doing this more often. I found my non productive posts around the site (LR and otherwise) come and go in waves as school does the same, and I expect that to hold true next season as well. As I've said before I'll be happy no matter where I am picked, but of course being chosen in the first round would be something special indeed. It does come with a lot of pressure being picked early, but I would actually enjoy that. I don't think I will explicitly ask to be sent down no. I think I will just leave it up to my new team to decide what is best for my development. If they need me to fill out their 4th line I will gladly do so. Yes we are losing a lot of players, but assuming all of my draft class is sent back down we will have a pretty solid core to work with I think. Banana, Link and myself will find ourselves in top 6 roles, and we will have to rise to that occasion if we are to be successful. We will have a pretty solid top pairing in Pentecost and Underscore, but obviously that would be vastly improved in Pente were to return to us. Finally we will have Jackson in net with a full season under his belt! I think he will be the most important piece for us next year as we will need him to steal some games considering our depth problems. Clearly there are some holes that need to be filled through the draft and free agency, but I have a lot of faith that JP and Cuffy will do that very well.

I am looking to improve everything at a pretty equal pace until maybe the 80 mark and then pick and choose a bit more to tailor myself to the teams needs. Absolutely not I am just as happy to play either position, whatever is best for the team. I pride myself on being a versatile player so I fully expect to play both positions throughout my career at one point or another. I feel that is a big asset to SHL teams as I could start on the wing early in my career and grow into a center for them in the long run or play center on my normal line and move up to wing on the power play. Bottom line is a like to be versatile, and I will do whatever the team needs from me.

Western Conference:

Calgary Dragons: I don't like assuming good things about myself usually, but I feel that with the Calgary Dragons first pick being in the third round there is a very small change I will be drafted by them. However, if they trade up or I am traded to them at some point I feel I could fill a shutdown role for them for a couple years.

Edmonton Blizzard: Edmonton has two first round picks so there is of course a chance I will be picked by them, but there picks are higher than I am expecting myself to go. If they do pick me though I feel I would be a solid pick to pair with Theo Kane, with myself being on the wing. They could really use some winger depth and I could absolutely provide that in a couple years as I progress as a player and a person.

Los Angelas Panthers: Similar to Edmonton the Panthers are in desperate need of some winger depth which I could absolutely provide them. With the western conference beings as absolutely ridiculous as it has been in the past depth is an absolute must for them, and I would fit the bill perfectly.

Seattle Riot: Coming off of a loss in the finals Seattle is clearly a contender which I would love to be drafted by. They have a solid core which I feel I could fit right in with at the center position. As some of their older players will be retiring soon they definitely need to draft some forward talent, and I like to think I fit that mold! I recognize that when you are drafted to a contender you will take a smaller role, but that is something I am comfortable with. I am definitely a "whatever is best for the team" kind of person.

Texas Renegades: Texas has a hilarious amount of depth so I doubt I am what they are looking for; they probably want defense before a center and winger combo. I would love to add to that depth however if they were to pick me, and I would get to play with one of my friends which is always a plus.

Winnipeg Jets: Winnipeg is unbelievably deep at the wing, so myself being a versatile wing and center combo would be a perfect fit for them. I don't think I will be a SHL ready center next year, I like to be realistic, but in a few years I think I can absolutely fit that bill, and that is what they need.

Eastern Conference:

Hamilton Steelhawks: With three years of first round picks being taken from them Hamilton really needs a solid draft this year to make up for that. Thankfully they have 3 picks in the top 15 to do so which, if chosen correctly, can really mitigate the damage done from that punishment. I would like to think that I am a pretty secure pick given the constant increase in my activity as this season progressed so I think I am a pretty solid match for that reason. Hamilton really can not risk and bust pick given the punishment.

Manhattan Rage: The Rage is looking for some serious top end end talent with their 19th overall pick. Once again I would like to think I will not drop that fall, but should I be humbled and do so I think I could fill the winger hole they are looking to fill.

Minnesota Cheifs: After trading their first overall pick to the Panthers Minnesota's next pick is 7th overall, and I fully expect them to draft my teammate Banana at that spot. The Cheifs next pick is 15th and if I were to drop that far I think I would be a very good choice for them. Banana and myself were linemates this year and developed some solid chemistry that any team would be foolish to miss out on.

New England Wolfpack: With New England's first pick being 20th overall I don't think there is a very high chance I will be drafted by them. They are already a contender in the East and are not looking for prospects at this point. If I do fall to their second round pick I would be a solid choice as they need to make that pick count considering they don't have a first round pick for the next three years.

Toronto North Stars: Toronto really needs to draft a center early in this draft, and I play that position every once in a while! I don't think I will be picked 4th or 6th overall though as my draft class is pretty damn solid at the top. I would be ecstatic to be proven wrong however.

West Kendell Platoon: With the 11th overall pick they fall right in the area which I am expecting myself to be drafted. The Platoon are looking for wingers so a versatile player like myself would be a very solid pick for them as I fit their current need and can move around should those needs change.

I don't really know, it is hard to say what is going to happen on draft day. I think Banana and I found some pretty solid chemistry near the end of the year, and that could only be improved moving forward in the SHL. Wahlstrom and Pomery also showed a solid flair for scoring goals which would mesh extremely well with the playmaker I hope to become one day.

Like I said above I think Banana and I would make a really solid pair in the SHL. She is pure goal scorer and I want to become a solid playmaker. Of course if Seattle were to draft me I would have a fucking blast with Nikitin! We could be the future of the franchise buddy! Pentecost is such a wild card so obviously we could end up on the same team, and I would love to play with Link as well if it worked out that way! Honestly, I would say my drive and dedication above all else, but I would like to say my build as well. I really want to win at the highest level and I will do whatever it takes to do so. I can promise that I will not be missing a training session or an activity check in with my new team, and I will also do all the extra things I can to improve myself in every way. Beyond that I think that my eventual build as a 200 foot, playmaker will be an essential component to any team that wishes to draft me. I have proven I can kill penalties, and I hope to prove next year that in a top 6 role I can put up some serious points as well.

Honestly I am really looking forward to the championship, and am ready to embrace whatever role is chosen for me. I'm really excited for our team moving forward, we are really young and will therefore improve quite rapidly.

I absolutely love it. The team is of course amazing, but the fans are something else as well. Nothing but pure passion for their team, and we really thrived on it this season. It pains me deeply that we couldn't get them another cup this year, but that will only motivate me more if I were sent down next year. Outside of hockey I am a huge music fan so St. Louis certainly fit in with that as well! I enjoy most types of music but there is a soft spot in my heart for rock and the blues, which are of course both pretty big in the city.

It all comes back to my parents, they loved hockey, and still do. I remember watching many a leaf game with them as a kid. I first started skating and playing when I was around 5 years old and haven't stopped since! I am very blessed to have exceedingly supportive parents, not just in hockey but all aspects of life. They sheer number of hours they spent driving back and forth from arenas is just astounding, and not even to mention the money involved. I am extremely thankful for them, and I hope to pass it on their love for the game to the next generation some day.

Family Christmas dinners have always been something special, and trips out west to visit the family out there have as well. This is surprisingly easy to answer! As a Leafs fan I would kill the shit out of that tree they call Chara. I think communication is important in any relationship, especially marriage, so I would have to pick Marty because he can speak English. That leaves my favorite player Datsyuk for the banging, and let's be honest, dude has the softest hands in the world, so that's a plus for sure.

Not nearly as much as I should, but I'm not at the point with Bursyuk that I need to pick and choose between stats just yet. My plan is to get all the main ones up to 80 and then start tailoring him into the player I want. As for the mock draft I've just been reading different threads trying to get a feel for it. I am definitely going to look back at the SMJHL draft to see where everyone went, and who improved or fell from grace a bit. In addition I was going to look at old SHL drafts to see where recreates and goalies usually go as those are the two big variables for me in this draft as I don't really know their value just yet.

At the beginning of the season I would have said the Whalers as I thought we were the top 2 teams coming out of the draft (oh how wrong I was in hindsight though lol). I know that if I actively try to become better than someone who is that much better than me, and who is such a hard worker, it will really help me improve as a player. So that is the closest thing I have to a rivalry I guess, but its more for self motivation than anything else, nothing but respect.
