Eichel = Modano in play style.
Carter = Modano

Carter = Modano

Modano's on a higher level than Carter though so it's (in my opinion) more apt for Eichel.

“The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. ... There are neither beginnings nor endings to the Wheel of Time. But it was a beginning.”

Leafs aren't getting McEichel... But hopefully they get in the Dylan Strome race.

Have to be Top 6 or 7 or so, some people think Strome is going in the Top 4 or 5 but I just don't see it.

Pavel Zacha? He'd be a good pick up despite his rough season so far. And he might have that loophole where he can go straight to the AHL.

No 'loophole' if you play in the CHL.

Different because he wasn't going back to junior because he was on loan from his Finish team.

Honka had a multi-year contract with JYP of the SM-Liiga that would carry past the 2013-2014 season.
When Honka traveled to N.A. to play for Swift Current, he was "loaned" to the WHL team for just one year.
Since Honka was "on loan" to Swift Current, the IIHF and NHLPA ruled he was technically drafted out of Finland and therefore the CHL-NHL transfer agreement did not apply.

Unless Zacha is loaned and under contract with his Czech team no loophole

It's a loophole. Honka loaned was just some clever stuff from the Nill and the Stars. At any rate Zacha is under contract to a Czech team. We won't know if he was loaned until he was drafted and his team wants him in the AHL or not.
