It does take a lot of time to get noticeable results. All of the hollywood actors who need to bulk up for roles generally lift 4 times daily and eat perfectly and use some supplement. You cant expect to lift on and off and see results.

If you want to get in shape I recommend running and abs. Once you get to a good level of fitness then start lifting. Ive seen a lot of people that start in bad shape and just lift and they get strong biceps/triceps and shoulders but are still fat.

Also genetics is a big part. If I had more than an ounce of discipline I could be ripped. I started working out when I was 14, got really into it when I was 15. Injured my neck and shoulder playing baseball and quit lifting for almost 5 full years.

Finally got around to doing PT for my neck and started to lift again. You also need to find proper motivation to keep at it.

If you are new do starting strength. Having a base is very important plus you need to learn how to properly do compound lifts so you don't injure yourself.

Also if you are young apparently GOMAD, gallon of milk a day, is the way to go. I personally didn't do it because i hate milk but i've heard good things about it.

Your program should depend on your goals. If you are ding it for aesthetics then do a split like park suggested.

If you are training for athletics then you need to be focusing a lot on compound movements. I recommend WS4SB3, google it.

Ight I have been getting bad love handles lately lol. Any good workouts so I can burn this off it's pissing me off.

BTW I'm trying to stay on a Fruit\Veggie diet nothing else. And any good Fruit type drinks out there that are healthy with no sugar
