SHL NHL Mock Draft Official Thread

Pilon would be a bigger reach so I think you made the right choice tbh. The D from now until about 50 are all pretty even with some exceptions. Zboril is a Robert Hagg sort of prospect where he has all the tools but lacks consistency. Not a bad pick but not a great one

Pilon is always a stud in be a gm for NHL every year lol

True that but he's fallen quite a bit. Roland McKeown syndrome. Or maybe Nick Ebert, who saw his draft stock go from top 5 to Mr. Irrelevant in the span of a year

Really Roland McKeown though

We have an early 2nd where I think we can get a good Dman.
We need a winger to replace Lucic (I'm PRAYING they don't extend him)

Hmm, maybe with the new GM, you see a shift like this. It would be good for Boston as they're getting too old to play their style. Especially on the D side. Svechnikov-Krejci-Pastrnak for the future first line would be filthy. Btw, you're welcome for that second. Would be mine if it wasn't for stupid fucking Andy MacDonald <_<

I'd still rather have Boychuk Smile)

True but he was your most movable asset on the backend. Everyone knows that Chara and Seidenberg are too slow now. Hamilton and Krug aren't going anywhere and trading your six isn't going to shed the salary needed to sign those two guys

oh no doubt.
our cap situation is completely fucked, so there was no way we could have kept Boychuk.
Hopefully we move Lucic and find a way to get rid of Kelly…that would open up 9mil and give us a little bit of flexibility.

Edmonton selects: Kyle Connor.

Larkin-esque. Not bad.
