There are quite a few possible reasons actually, maybe someone just wants a second player to have fun with, or he creates a second player shortly after the junior draft and then signs with the team his first player is on to help them out. Multis can be used to spy on rival teams as well or to fuck someone over in a trade, there are many ways someone could use them to his advantage...

Or you can get 5 TPE if you recruit yourself :-?

Fair points, never thought of any of these, especially the spying.

And I forgot the most common one actually: Cheating your way into some extra recruitment drive TPE by creating a new player and putting your first guy as the recruiter. I'm pretty sure this one actually happens quite regularly and only barely ever is uncovered because usually those people never log in again with their multi.

Your picture has never been more relevant with all this plotting.
Ouch. Out of curiousity, I was fired for tampering and I was the COGM. How come he's not fired? He's the head GM and he gave his team the advantage by giving them an additional player he knew would clearly earn TPE.
I tried to cheat, didn't pull the tampering off and got fired. If this is correct, he cheated an entire season with a multi on his own team... yet he gets to keep his job?
I love Yousuf, just calling it how I see it..
EDIT: and imo, this is more cheating. I tried to bring another person over. All I did was disobeyed rules. He deliberately made another account to gain success.
