This article is a part of a new series focusing on RS91 Player Agency clients who are coming up on their SHL Entry Draft day. We will focus on their seasons, their current strengths and weaknesses (attributes), and their hopefully bright futures in the SHL.

We currently have 3 clients that are eligible for tomorrow's SHL Entry Draft and each will have their own respective articles released throughout the course of today.

This is the second article of the series, this time we will be focusing on our one (and only) goalie client...

Kyle Prince

Kyle making a save for the Regina Force this past season.

Kyle spent his rookie season playing for the Regina Force where he became their starting goalie. He battled for the starting position with Vladislav Vodka at the start of the season but quickly won it over. After a small hiccup at the start of the season Kyle was able to focus on his play and excel as a first year goalie.

Kyle is considered to be a hybrid style goalie. He excels at the reactionary portion of the game but lacks when it comes to movement within the crease.

Current Attributes

TPE Earned: 304

SK = Skating: 60
DU = Durability: 54
EN = Endurance: 80
SZ = Size: 80
AG = Agility: 80
RB = Rebound Control: 80
SC = Style Control: 80
HS = Hand Speed: 80
RT = Reaction Time: 80
PH = Puck Handling: 50
PS = Penalty Shot: 50

Based upon his attributes we can tell that Kyle lacks when it comes to skating and thus impacts his movement in and around the crease. But what he lacks for in his skating ability he more than makes up for in his reaction to shots. His great reactionary skills make him a perfect hybrid style goalie.

Kyle is also great when it comes to controlling himself in the crease. As we said he lacks in his skating ability, but more than makes up for it in other areas such as his control of himself and rebounds, if he ever lets any out. For a goalie of his stature, and lack of skating ability, Kyle is a very agile goalie.

Kyle is also a very large goalie, he isn't the biggest goalie size wise, but he makes himself look big in net when challenging shooters. He also has a high level of endurance, this allows him to play a greater amount of game which is something that a starting goalie must, obviously, be able to do.

As you can clearly see, Kyle is a great young goaltender. He only lacks in one area while being a great overall goalie everywhere else. Kyle will continue to work on his overall game and weakness in skating. We should see Kyle in the SHL in no time.

Kyle didn't have the most amazing rookie season, but as a goalie this is almost expected. Hall of Fame SHL goalies have started off with a very poor rookie season and have gone on to do amazing things.

Kyle did earn the starting position though and gained some excellent playoff experience, and that should be the highlight of his season. He played in 34 games, posting a good overall record and okay save percentage and goals against average. He also recorded his first shutout.

The playoffs were once again nothing to write home about, but considering that Kyle was playing on what was considered to be a rebuilding junior franchise he did very, very, very well. He will only continue to get better and could very well be a Hall of Fame goalie in his own due time.

In the end, Kyle is an amazing up and coming young goalie. He should make an excellent pick for whoever selects him in tomorrow's SHL Entry Draft.

Plus, he has a great player agent. Wink
