Heimer-Schmidt, hailing from Boston, Massachussets, is an all around ace center who can burn teams with his speed and break ankles with his creativity.

A 26th overall pick, he quickly rose amongst the ranks of one of the top players picked in the deep Season 20 draft, and has gotten accustomed to a bigger role with the Platoon every year.

A two-way star, Heimer-Schmidt will be an excellent addition to our powerhouse agency, and his enthusiasm for being a part of the team is truly infectious. We are excited to see the amount of damage this special player can do to the league.

John, you are a prominent member in the SHL. Why join the DGA at this point in your career?

Well, now that I've been in the league for so long, I decided having an agent would be the best way to get my best interests cared for. And when you're someone like me, you realize you arent a young player with your whole career in front of you anymore. You need to be prepared for the rest of your life, and I knew DGA would be the best way for me to ensure that happens.

Heimer-Schmidt in recent seasons has become a household name. What have you yet to accomplish thus far in your career that you think is important in cementing your legacy?

There are really 2 things that I need to do to cement myself as a top class player: Win a Challenge Cup, and finish top 3 in the Platoon points race. I won a 4 star cup, but it doesnt compare to the challenge cup at all. It's something I've been dreaming about since I was a boy. As for the Platoon points race, I want to show I deserve to play with my talented teammates.

You've been noted as being a character guy around the league. What factors do you weigh into picking an agent to represent you? How important is integrity?

Like I was saying earlier, I've been in the league for a while. Now that I'm becoming a bigger name, I want an agent who's experienced with top quality players, and can ensure my financial security while I focus on helping the Platoon win the cup. I've become good friends with the higher management, and it's become apparent that they are the best in the business at taking care of their clients. Integrity is important for an agency as well, and the enthusiasm and care they exude in my conversations with them has made it apparent that they would never do anything to screw me over. I am very very happy at the service this agency provides
