Don't know if anyone mentioned it on here or not, but the best thing you can do while working out is going slow as you lift, curl, or whatever and release slow. A full bicep curl should take three seconds and the release should take three seconds.
Remember the only way that you get bigger is causing micro tears in muscel fiber, as it heals it the musscel fiil in the gap of the tear. It also takes about 72 hours to fully heal from one intense workout if you over work a body part it will hurt this proccess more then help it. Base you workout around that. Focus on two key musscels at a time and have one day off during a week to really get yourself to grow. Hope this helps. ![]() Sig by Lazyeye

Idk, just know that a lot of people work out trying to be explosive and quick with the movements. Athletes for one, then bodybuilders I know do that too. ![]() ![]() ![]() Registered S8, S9, S13, S22 Challenge Cup Champion ![]() Registered Posting Freak Quote:Originally posted by Jamie@May 14 2012, 07:32 PMgo gurl im drinking my protein shake right now... nice tricep day today tomorrow morning before school im gonna do biceps cuz its denim day tomorrow gonna attempt to show them guns ![]() Registered S10, S12, S20, S21, S28 Challenge Cup Champion
First time I have maxed out while benching since my injury. So sad. Maxed at 200. I was maxing 240 my freshman year in high school. That was 5 years ago :(

Pretty impressive coming back from an injury, good job ![]() Only impressive thing I can do (at least for me) is I can leg press six plates. ![]() Registered S10, S12, S20, S21, S28 Challenge Cup Champion Quote:Originally posted by NathanAD@May 14 2012, 04:56 PM Thats quite good. I was always upper body, never liked to do lower body. But I started lifting early thats why I was able to bench a decent amount near the end of my freshman year. It also likely led to my injury. ![]() Registered S8, S9, S14, S20, S21 Challenge Cup Champion Quote:Originally posted by Boon@May 14 2012, 06:57 PM I never really worked out, until the past year, so my legs are just that strong from all the years of hockey, soccer, golf, football, baseball, etc. I do agree with you though, I much prefer doing upper body than lower body. ![]() Registered Senior Member
The most I was able to bench was about 140 pounds, but I often used the cable machines. When I would try the actual bench press I'd be pretty shaky

Deezy's a lower body tank, I've seen him raise more than 6 plates with just his calves!!
