Yesterday was exactly one year since I joined the site, which gives me an opportunity to whore myself out for money. You know the drill, comment and i'll tell you what I think of you or whatever

Richy :-x you and I were pretty much thrown into bad circumstances and we weren't able to reconcile until it was too late. I never wanted to trade you away from this team, I'll always think of you as a whaler and we all love you in Vancouver still. I understood your reasoning for asking out, with Kit being a non-alumni and going inactive and all that, and I think with my inexperience as a GM I couldnt really repair our relationship. I'm glad you and I were able to reach a personal understanding and be friends, and I regret everything we had to go through during the trade saga, but I'm glad we reached a mutual decision on how to proceed, and in the end I think it was best for both of us.

I dont know too much about you, other than that you're from the draft class that came after mine. I really like your avvy because it combines scrubs, one of my personal favorite shows, with Gary Oak, who is awesome. You've been a presence around the board for a long ass time and you're definitely a positive member of the community.

Kevin "Juice" Bieksa

The member of the Whalers I've probably gotten to know best during my time as GM. You're a really great guy, and your dedication to the team is truly admirable, one of the biggest personalities in the LR and someone that I find extremely likeable. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to trade for Cynthia, but she's an awesome girl and she's always welcome in the Whalers chatzy. As for you, you're going to be a huge positive for L4E when you're called up to Winnipeg and I hope someday we can become teammates on an SHL team. Also get a mike so you can do a podcast with me <_<

You were one of the S20's I didnt know too much about, I think, until I ended up hiring you for the Team USA spot. I remember how mature you usually acted around the boards, far more mature than I, and your application was the strongest one I recieved by far. Unfortunately, you were only able to serve under me for a short while before getting an SHL GM spot and becoming too good for a scrub team like us :lol: . But I really like you, I think you're a stand up guy who's really fun to talk to. The fact that you're in our slack chatroom for Team USA still just goes to show how much we still like you over there. You definetly deserved that GM spot and I have no doubt that you'll make Hamilton a great team in the near future.

I'm pretty sure I annoy the crap out of you, not only for my immaturity but also for my inability to stay active on VHL :lol: . Very sorry about that by the way, I just was crunched for time with school and despite my best efforts I just couldnt manage to find the time. I heard you got a VHL GM job, so congrats on that, you were a good GM in the VHLM and you deserved the promotion for sure. Also Cail says you bring her burritos and blizzards and stuff so thats pretty cool on your part.

Bloobs :-x one of my S20 homies! I remember back before my spate of semi activity after the SHL draft, Simons was JHS's #1 rival. Whenever I'd go into the SMJHL index, I'd check the Whalers score, my scoring results, and then I'd check how you did. Not only are you a great guy, but you pushed me to make my player as good as I possibly could. Everyone forgives you by now for the mistake you made with the multi, but I have to say I admire the maturity with which you handled the whole thing then, and even today now when people joke about it. You're a great guy, and ArGar made an excellent choice when he picked you as his co. I have no doubt you're one of the big reasons for this season's success and I think the team will continue to improve with you two at the helm.

My opinion on you has 360'd since our first interaction, back in my rookie season during the whole IIHF thing. I thought you were a stuck up prick who was a hardass about stupid rules, and although you can still be a prick at times you're pretty fucking funny, as well as one of the more intelligent members of the league. You and I have had some good discussions on movies, we have similar taste in that department and when I'm trying to find a movie to watch I usually go to your ratings in the discussion thread and choose something out of your top picks. You're a good guy and I enjoy talking to you.

My cold war enemy! You and I have one of the more interesting relationships in the league for sure. You and I are at different ends of the spectrum with a lot of things, and the IIHF was one of the major ones. I did not agree with most of the things Russia did in your time as head there, but I sure do respect the hell out of you and your unmatched passion about this league. Russia's recent success is a result of the legacy and activity you started there, you're a great guy and I think if you can do in Detroit what you did in Russia you'll win the cup in no time flat. Since I'm being honest, sometimes I get a bit annoyed when your emotions get the better of you, but in the end you're my friend, and the member who I think shows the most of his real personality despite being behind a computer screen. I really admire that about you, it's something that takes courage.

Dirty Randy :-x one of my favorite members of the platoon and the D club as well, you were one of the latest additions to our group but also one of the best. You're a good guy, you, Gorlab, and I are BFF's 4ever and the League refrences are so much fun. Look at my avvy! Anyway, you're a great guy and I love ya bud, you make being on the platoon even better than it already was.

WHY DID YOU CHANGE YOUR AVVY? It was honestly the best one in the history of the league. Well, I guess I'm not too angry, because now mine's the best Tongue

. Anyway, you're really fun to talk to, and it's always entertaining when you pop into the LR/chatzy. You keep your cool pretty well even when you get drawn into shit storms. You're an awesome girl and I like talking to you, I hope you start coming into the Whalers LR a little bit more and say hi every once in a while.

EMS <3 another one of the Whalers alumni I love seeing in the LR. You're an active guy and I was lucky to have you on Team USA for a while before stepping down as Head. You're also pretty great to talk to although it seems like its been a while since you've stopped into the LR. One of the nicest guys I know, you have a quick wit to you and you're not afraid to say whats on your mind. Without you and a few others, the Renes would have almost no positives to them, and I think your GMs should recognize that.

McZ! Definetly a controversial figure around the league. Wasnt too big of a fan when I first joined the league, but I've def warmed up to you recently. You're a really good guy to have in the LR, and I'm glad to have you on the team. I love how much dedication to show to the team, it's really inspiring especially to the newbies. If only you perfected your english a bit more, I think everyone would love you. I already do though :wub:
