<div align="center">S24 Dragons Rookie Hazing!

It's that time of year again, when the rookies in Calgary get hazed by the veterans! This year is special because we have 3 rookies playing for us and all of them are having great seasons and are a big reason for our early success and turn around in Calgary. That being said, we have to keep them in check, so 3 of our veterans will be keeping them from getting too big of a head.

Our S23 Rookies and their Veteran Hazers:

Schnitinfritz Jagr - Being hazed by Steven Jalopski
Michael Boychuk - Being hazed by Bronsen Zerchai (his former GM in Regina)
Fernando Pergher - Being hazed by Sachimo Zoidberg

Like every other year, the veterans will be giving each rookie a haircut and laying out the duties they must perform for them or the team during the season. Only rules are nothing that may result in injury or time missed. Everything else is fair game!

So here we go!


First up we have Schnitinfritz Jagr, let's see what Jalopski has in store for him...

HAIRCUT:



NO HAIRCUT. Schnitzy's beautiful flowing mullet is just too perfect to alter in any way. We want frizz levels to be at maximum throughout the season so we will be consulting a beauty salon for products which will ensure his POOFINESS will endure even the hardest practices and games.

The veteran Dragons are well aware of young schnitzy's debauchery and reputation as a sex maniac, so we will be rooming him with Robert Birkavs, which should drastically reduce the number of women willing to visit their hotel room. Schnitzy will also report for a mandatory hair brushing and maintenance from Birks, no later than 10pm every night during road trips. Schnitzy will also be responsible for realistically forging all Steven Jalopski autographs during any Dragons merchandise signing events throughout S24.

Schnitz will be available to the Calgary Dragon's training staff's recreational softball team for their summer and fall seasons. They need a hole plugged in the outfield and a waterboy in the dugout. He will be present for any game that does not conflict with the Dragon's practice or game schedule, and will be under the utmost scrutiny from his teammates to perform.

Finally, Schnitzy will be responsible for ensuring the entirety of Taylor Swift's discography is at his disposal at all times. He will be expected to recall the album and track number of any T Swift song at the request of Ken Spiak. Failure to successfully produce a specific Taylor Swift song when requested will result in a compulsory hour of tpe analysis and revamp possibilities with Belial.

Now we move on to rookie Michael Boychuk, who is being hazed by his former Regina GM Bronsen Zerchai...

The first thing boychuk must do is after every team meal he must comb through my giant bushy red beard.

Boychuk has to comb through my beard after every team meal and feed me and owly, my pet owl, which currently resides in my beard... Owly hates people so He will put up quite a struggle. He must also feed me any leftover food he finds in there... he MUST BE THOROUGH.

Also as Zerchai is the GM of Prince George I will be travelling between Calgary and Prince George a lot so I require a comfortable bump free piggy back ride to Prince George and back....

Boychuk must also Have a selection of music that I can pick between for him to sing while we are travelling... I want a variety of music styles as I dont know what mood I will be in at the time.

As I, along with many others have done this and honestly I'm curious about what all the hype is about.

This season Boychuk is the lucky rookie who gets to perform the infamous in between shift thigh rubs downs for both Oferyn Martell and Bronsen Zerchai. This is a Dragons tradition.



He must also make sure the team fridge is stocked with at minimum 13 different types of parm dishes. The 13 options must changes every week, but Chicken Parm must always be one of them.

He must also be my camera man for anytime I decided to have a Beard Talks episode which is almost always a spontaneous occurrence, if he doesn't have the camera ready to go when I start the episode he must spend the night suspended over the arena from the jumbotron naked in Jalopski's stinky sweaty gym bag. The team will then persist to hit the gym bag with pucks while on the ice.

Now to Fernando Pergher's rookie hazing, performed by Sachimo Zoidberg...

Fernando Pergher gets the great pleasure of being hazed by me, Sachimo Zoidberg. Once upon a time, when I was a young buck, I was hazed by Jalopski. I still seek psychiatric help. Time to pay it forward to young Ferdy.

First things first, we go with the standard bad haircut that will be worn through the season. The playoff beard can be added to it, but it's mandatory that he keeps his hair cut and trimmed in this fashion.



Pretty sweet right? I've heard scouts say Ferdy is agile as a mouse on his feet, so I thought it'd be fitting for him. I can't wait to see what the opposition says when they see that out on the ice during warm-ups. I'm expecting we see a lot of hits that aim to take off his brain bucket so they can admire his fancy do. I trimmed him personally; like I said I've been waiting a long time and have had a lot of practice on how I would torment my hazee.

Next up, I thought I'd tap into Ferdy's Brazilian heritage, and their world renowned dancing abilities. Ferdy is a bit shy when he's thrown in front of a big crowd, and what a coincidence, the Dragons' Annual Charity Talent Show is just around the corner. While it usually consists of Jalopski slamming back beers and Esa mowing down chicken parms in times no human should be able to consume those things, this years would have a bit of flair.

I'm going to get a front row seat to watch him stumble off the stage as his stage fright gets the best of him.

Last but not least, the tried and true rookie carrying the hockey equipment. Usually the newbie only has to carry one players' equipment for the whole season. But you know me and how I'm the perfect gentleman. So, in that spirit, young Ferdy will have the great honour of not only collecting my equipment from the locker room after games and practices, but also Jaime Hill's.


Fuck my life.

Collect and pack our bags, and the lucky bastard gets to carry our gear around for the entire season! Ah, to be young again.

That's all I can muster up for this young buck. Ferdy's a good kid with a great work ethic and high tolerance for our shenanigans. I'm very lucky I got to be the one to haze him and officially make him a member of the Calgary Dragons. Good luck kid, you're gonna need it.

These poor bastards, the Dragons rookies really have their work cut out for them this season, but it's all in good fun. Things like this are what bring us together as a team and these rooks will earn everyone's respect this season. Unless of course they don't complete their duties, in which case they will have to clean Esa's toilet on a nightly basis after his consumption of mutliple chicken parm entrees and beer. Let's hope they don't screw up.

We love our rookies in Calgary, they are our future and once they pay their dues this season, they will truly be part of the Dragons family. Granted this family may be slightly disfunctional, but what family isn't right?
