I've quoted two of your posts because I think they definitely help me make my point that we all mostly need a way to cope with the inevitability of death. It is a daunting prospect to think that it all just comes to an end, and we cease to exist after that. Someone believing that and being OK with it doesn't make them 'hard' though. Coming to terms with your mortality just makes you appreciate life even more, and be determined to enjoy your time on earth (inb4 'why are you on a hockey site then?'. Also, why do you think humans are wired to fear death? Because you do? I agree with Shutout in that, when I die, I won't know about it, so it doesn't really bother me. Saying that, if I was in a live or die situation, I'd obviously try to live, but the will to live doesn't have to be exclusive from an acceptance of death.

The Saw movies are way too unappreciated in my opinion.

Your "soul" is just other people's memory of you... but you will have no part it in it once your dead. Just a memory.
