I did a lot of work too but if we're really going to restart this thing from scratch the whole "keeping your players" thing will be a turn off for a lot of members

You think I'd be that much of an asshole to, just to spite you, remove your work on your player? That's just mean under any other circumstances. And I'm sorry I left when I saw no progress being made on the league as a whole: the way it was set up (which includes how I helped, and I take responsibility for that) was fast and dirty and wrong.
If you're that much of a beast, you can do it again, just like the rest of us. There's nothing stopping you. GCool even said that there may be an incentive for recreates. I do have a midway point that I think will benefit both sides: follow the VHL's recreate policy of retaining a certain % of previously earned TPE for new players. It does respect OG members but don't think you can just pick up where you left off: this needs to be done from scratch to be right.

Same man I am at 500+ with a bank account sitting at about $13mil, I worked my ASS off to get that. It is not fair to cater to people who left after week one just because they want to be where the dedicated people are.
Getting 500 TPE in one season sounds like another problem lol!

I resent the DH more than anything else in baseball or life, ever. And I like an AL team...
I played baseball more than any other sport (through community college err well kind of), and the DH never bothered me.
Around 11th or 12th grade we had a couple guys who were getting seriously scouted for pitching, so they shut down doing all the drills and focussed on pitching. So I was use to it, and hell rather have a guy out there that practices base running, hitting, isn't the best player on the team if he gets hurt.
The only pitcher I care to see hit is Madison Bumgarner
If there is anything carrying over from the dead league (even incentive) you wont see me, or a bunch of other people join. I may give it a go if it is a FRESH start and looks much better than the last league. It was destined to die, and thats why I quit last time (Told dylan that, and he understood)

Understandable, but I think it will work the other way as well. Frankly if I won the league and had a 500 TPE player and stuck it out, but i have start completely over, you wont see me or a bunch of people thnat deserve some kind of incentive join again.
So its a double-edged sword. But i figure why not reward the people that actually stuck around and tried to make it work, rather than be one of the people that bailed and was part of why it failed? I dont see the harm in that.
