Tsizling has successfully locked up his third straight Turd Ferguson Trophy for the most penalty minutes in the regular season. That is sometimes a blessing and a curse, but you can never say that Tsizling isn’t a team first guy. He always has his teammates best interests in mind, even if it translates into a penalty kill situation. Protection of the young stars and offensive talent is something that is core to Tsizling’s game, but I wouldn’t quite call him a goon.
Kaspars Tsizling was dealt to the Manhattan Rage prior to the season start. This was the first year Tsizling had shed the emerald crest of the New England Wolfpack for Red and White, the franchise that his agent, Erik Chisling, carved a hall of fame career out of. At first, Tsizling wasn’t sure what to think, but will the guidance of Erik Chisling and the welcoming approach that GM Merica and Mook provided, he stepped in well and produced a respectable 29 point season as a bruising blueliner. Tsizling had a good season, statistic-wise, but he never felt all that comfortable in Manhattan. Maybe knowing he only had a one year deal and that his environment very well maybe temporary stayed at the back of his mind. One thing is for sure, he’s not re-signing with the Rage prior to free agency. Tsizling will be pursuing free agency to see what teams have interest in him, and to see where he could fit in for the next few seasons. I spoke with Erik Chisling, Kaspars Tsizling’s agent and he had the following to say about his client: “Kaspars is going to be looking for a spot on a team that is looking to compete for the Challenge Cup. The money is important, as is the role on the team. He’s looking to be a leader. He wouldn’t be opposed to a one year deal in the right situation.†As of right now, here’s how the teams stack up in Tsizling’s eyes. #1 – The Seattle Riot have always been high on Tsizling’s list. PROS – A lot. Management is great, GoB was one of the guys I recruited to the site. Fever is still around in the LR (or at least on FB, I see him there). King was my teammate in Vancouver, Leonidas has a good presence on the site, they have some real awesome guys in Winter, Kylrad and McKeil. I’d certainly slot in on the top pairing. I don’t know what I don’t like about this team. CONS – Maybe the logo and team name? I don’t really like the kit, but I’d get over that pretty quickly with how awesome the group of people are. #2 – My old home, where I spent plenty of seasons and won my first cup (with Tsizling). PROS – I know just about everyone. I drafted the core of the team that remains today and I am friends with a lot of the people still. I’d still play top pairing minutes with Reid who has a lot of chemistry with Tsizling already. PB and Storm are doing a good job too. It’s getting pretty old seeing them out of the playoffs, though. CONS Do I really want to go back to the same old, or do I want to use this chance for an actual change? We’ll see though, I do hope to hear from NE on FA day still. #3 – Yeah, I hate on the Platoon on a regular basis. Stupid hockey in stupid Florida. But I kinda like them at the same time too. It’s weird. PROS – Lets just take a step back and think of a Tsizling-Biscuit d-pairing. It’d be nasty. Just brutal, teeth on the ice, blood on your visor and asses on the penalty benchs kind of nasty. I think it’d be kind of fun. Plus they have a few other guys that I like a lot, Ricebowl, Z, Schmidt, D-A, Jogurtaa, etc. It’d be kind of a Latvian gettogether. CONS – They’re still a fucking Miami hockey team. All 12 of their fans can’t really get the team going. #relocateWKP RIP Dangel. See you on the other side, brother

Think this might be the first time we come in at number 1
I'm also not a fan of the name or kit haha. It doesn't have that "ommf". Anyways would love to have you here, especially after losing a guy like Nikitin.

I saw the unveiling of the jersey and the name and I thought I heard a loud fart... or maybe that was my imagination. But who the f*** cares, you guys have an awesome team. We'll see! RIP Dangel. See you on the other side, brother
