I'm a Habs fan and used to like Lucic, got less and less as time went on to where he is currently at, which is Matt Cooke level douchebag.

I am so excited at the prospect of Getzlaf beating the shit out him.

I don't crying is the way to put it, but he does seem to get rattled when a guy lays a clean hit on him more often than not. Whereas other guys acknowledge the hit and move on to go do their own legal hit. Lucic seems to go after guys and think that no one is allowed to lay a finger on him. The bad thing with that is it seems to actually throw him off his game from what I've seen.

There's no denying that.
In this situation tho the game is already over and him taking a shot at Couture does nothing to hurt his team.

His problem is when he does this stuff in situations that does hurt his team.
This particular instance tho I just don't see what the big deal is

I think the only big deal in this situation was how easy it was for Couture to get that flip switched. I mean technically at that point in the game it really has no barring on the rest of the game, but how quickly Lucic turned was what people are laughing at.

Maybe it's just me but from what I saw, Couture was coming out of the box and it looked like the hit was the only safe player he could do without getting steam rolled.

#1 That's whining. I guess the definition could be different or the same for some.
#2 Baseball umps suck though, so no surprise. Some he has a point on, some he doesn't.

I viewed it as him trying to set a tone for the way the Kings want to play for the rest of the season.
The Kings are similar to the Bruins in regard to wanting to be a physical, hard to play against team.

That point in the game is a perfect time to "send a message"
Obviously Couture laughed it off and that's why it's funny, but if it happened in a close game and cost the Kings a win, then I could see it being something really worth talking about.

I'm not... I'd rather not have Getzlaf hurt his hand fighting someone who's not worth the energy, I'd much rather have Stoner, Manson, McGratton, Maroon, Bieksa, Jackman or any of the other easily replaceable guys who fight do the heavy lifting there.
