Then can you explain the Ignant thing? Cuz as thrilled as I am for Portland, I don't get it.

He's the Connor McDavid of the league and will put up impressive numbers.

A thing I see here is that there was some discrepancies between how I rated people and how the other judges did.

For example

In my ratings, Brian Morley and Darian Scherbluk were still 'generational' or 10/10 players, as I considered the body of work, not just the last season. A crappy first half of the season for Morley , to me, doesn't mean he's now a bad player, just that he had a tough start or some bad chemistry, but, clearly, he's still a high TPE and very good player.

Whereas some people, gonna throw Leo and DMoushey here as examples, 1 good season does not make you a 'consistent elite superstar' so I rated them clearly significantly lower than some of the other judges. Scherbluk and Morley are, to me, still generational talents because nobody as of yet has stepped up to knock them off that pedestal, and one season of less than stellar stats does not take that away from them. Clearly other people feel differently, seeing how far these two guys dropped after last season. Doesn't make them wrong, doesn't make me wrong, it's just a different approach to how one rates somebody!

Anyway, this is always fun and a neat thing and it's just some people's opinions, not the be all and end all of everything, but overall I feel the final rankings are, more or less, legit.

i feel like that's reasonable but i think it should be largely based on S25 since its S25 rankings.. but definitely a player's general reputation over past seasons needs to be taken into account

You're right. Brojled scored a Hat trick in the prospect show case. Brojled (only slightly)> Ignant
