I think he would be the better choice purely for the mental/emotional aspect. He's played big pressure games in Arsenal, and Tyton might not be used to that kind of stuff although I'm not even sure if the mind game is as big of a deal in soccer as it is in hockey.

A few interesting scenarios still possible in group B:

Denmark beats Germany, Portugal beats Netherlands: Denmark/Portugal/Germany all on 6 points. Hypothetically, if all games are 1-goal wins, all three teams would be not only on 6 points, but +1 goal difference.

Germany beats Denmark, Netherlands beats Portugal: Denmark/Portugal/Netherlands all on 3 points. As with the other scenario, if all games are 1-goal wins, all three teams would not only be on 3 points, but -1 goal difference.

In either of these scenarios, if the scores are identical across the games: Denmark and Portugal would match exactly through tiebreaker E. Same points, same goal difference, same goals for, and despite the Portuguese win head to head, if they get into either 3 way tie (with either Netherlands on 3 points or Germany on 6 points) then the head to head results will rock paper scissors themselves out into being even across the sides. To separate these two, you'd have to go all the way down to tiebreaker F, the UEFA ranking. Right now, that favors Portugal. Would Denmark change their tactics several times mid-game, to either win by more or lose by fewer than Portugal, so as to take the goal difference and not have to go to tiebreaker F (including, if they are even winning against Germany, still pushing offensively to score an extra which could have the adverse effect of opening them up at the back)? Or rather, would they just play their best game the whole way through regardless of what's going on in the other game? I'm fairly certain they play the games opposite each other so that a second game can't react to an earlier result, but someone in the team section will probably have a feed of the other game on a radio headset.

I predict Netherlands vs Portugal finishes in a tie
Germany defeats Denmark

Germany Portugal advance

Germany has had flashes of brilliance, but has also looked vulnerable at times. Hopefully they can pick it up against Denmark.

Germany only has to play for a point. While they certainly have the capability to beat Denmark, since they don't need to, I'd almost be tempted to think they'll play for the draw, knowing that it would absolutely eliminate Netherlands regardless of the result of the other game. Considering the German-Dutch rivalry, I can't see them passing up the chance to guarantee the elimination of their rival team. If so, Portugal's fate would be in their own hands, they'd advance with a win or draw (win on points, draw on head to head tiebreaker over Denmark) and Denmark would advance with a Portugal loss.

Epic win.

And Germany won´t play for a tie, I am sure they will try to win this game vs Denmark.
