Wasn't it two games ago where he was directly responsible for 3 goals against? I think people realize Boston's depth is their weakness but Miller has had some terrible games and I think he can be easily replaced.

he had a bad game against the Kings and then had a mishap in the Winnipeg game and now he's the problem with the team.

I'm not saying the defense isn't the problem, but honestly when is the last time you said to yourself after a game, "wow Rask really won us that game".

I'm not a Bruins fan but the last few games of theirs I've watched he's stood out as an easy fix to me. Rask is no Tim Thomas, that guy would win games any way he could.

Sweeny did do a decent job of purging salary which should allow for improved depth in the coming seasons.

he's actually a pretty good bottom pairing Dman IMO
better than McQuaid (who is my favorite player)

our problem is he's playing in our top 6 because our defense is so bad and we don't have a goalie who can bail us out even tho we are paying him like he is a goalie that can bail us out.

A goalie can't do it all. Their defense is absolute shit. Krug and Chara are the only ones who even play at an NHL level on a consistent basis. They are totally overmatched and it will be hilarious when Rask becomes (well, it's already started) the next scapegoat.

I'd argue against that. And I think McQuaid is a replacement level at best NHL dman.

He likely has zero confidence right now which hurts his game. Is Boston a buyer or seller at the deadline?
