<div align="center">raiders S27 HALIFAX RAIDERS TEAM AWARDS raiders

The Halifax Raiders saw lots of contributions from all over the line-up. While we apologize for taking quite some time to get to the awards for the previous season, we are happy to announce who won the awards for S27. While we may have fallen short in our quest for the back-to-back Four Star Cups, there is no doubt that the people who got us to where we were deserve credit for their contributions to the team. So without further ado, on to the awards.

The Rosston Trophy Raiders leading scorer

WINNER!
Conall Macleod

Congratulations Gem!

While Gem may have unfortunately gone inactive, there is no reason that his contributions to the team this season should go unnoticed. Macleod put up 22 goals and 51 points over his 50 games played for the team, and going PPG is a feat that not many SMJHL players can say they’ve made. Halifax will be weird without Macleod on the roster this season, but hopefully this is a good farewell gift. Thanks for everything, Gem!

PREVIOUS WINNERS
S26: Conall Macleod
S25: Carter Rosston

The Broadway Award Dedication to Hockey/Leadership Award

WINNER!
Marc-Andre Moreau

Congratulations, treant!

Treant was a draft pick that every GM in this league dreams about. Despite being a new rookie with no previous SHL experience, treant established himself as a leader in the locker room. Without him, it’s certain that the locker room would have been lacking. Treant took interest in the league and the team overall, encouraging his teammates and generating discussion all season long. We couldn’t be prouder of our Halifax graduate heading off to Hamilton. Best of luck!

S26: Carter Rosston
S25: Brett Broadway

The Ogorodnikov Trophy Top Two-Way Forward

WINNER!
Petr Kolesnikovs

Congratulations, Sirmore!

Kolesnikovs has been a big piece of the Halifax franchise for quite some time now, and he stepped up where he had to this season. With 65 hits and 42 points, Kolesnikovs was one of the guys who could be relied on at all times during the game. Kolesnikovs put his body on the line and blocked 12 shots through the season, which was the highest amount of the forwards on Halifax. Thanks for everything that you do for the team, Sirmore!

PREVIOUS WINNERS
S26: Taystee Poussey
S25: Ignant Ogorodnikov

The Fuller Trophy Top Defenseman

WINNER!
Clayton Fuller

Congratulations, Swimbizzilin!

And for the third season in a row, the Fuller award goes to the man himself! Clayton Fuller has proved that he is one of the best players in Halifax history and certainly will be awarded for that in the future. In S27 though, Fuller was a massive threat on the ice. From his 70 shots blocked, his 41 points, or his +5 with his 24 minutes per game on average, it’s clear that Fuller is a star. He led the defensemen in most of these stats, and thus gets the nod for the Fuller once again.

S25: Clayton Fuller

The Mikita Award Rookie of the Year

WINNER!
Marc-Andre Moreau

Congratulations, treant!

Besides being one of the most active members that Halifax had the privilage of having in their locker room last season, Moreau was also a stud on the ice. For his rookie campaign, Moreau put up 21 points and had 34 shots blocked. He definitely contributed a ton to the team, and it’s because of those reasons that we have another announcement tonight...

PREVIOUS WINNERS
S26: Arik Mikita
S25: N/A

Going forward, the Rookie of the Year award will be known as the Moreau Award! We feel that treant was a perfect example of what it is to be a rookie in the SMJHL, and therefore have decided to rename this award. Congratulations again, treant!

The Macleod Award Most Valuable Player

WINNER!
Taystee Poussey

Congratulations, jme!

This decision was difficult for the front office, but when it came down to it, Poussey’s contributions could not be ignored. With 44 points on the seasons, Poussey also dominated with 145 hits dished out while blocking nine shots. Considering her 21 minutes of average per game, Poussey was arguably the Raider’s MVP every game. This kind of two-way talent is really hard to come by, and that’s why we have decided to award Poussey with the Macleod Award tonight.

PREVIOUS WINNERS
S26: Petr Kolesnikovs
S25: Conall Macleod

The Raiders had quite a bit of cap space leftover from the previous season, so the awards winners will all be given a bonus for their award wins. Thank you for taking the time to read our awards show and congratulations to all of the winners for S27. We look forward to what next season will bring to the league!</div>
