<div align="center">Coming off of a record setting regular season that was followed by a disappointing loss in the Four Star Cup the fans of Montreal went into the off season feeling let down after their team failed to bring the cup home yet again. Shortly after the loss the team changed their name which was followed by a very vocal section of the fan base making their displeasure well known in regards to the change. Among all this there has been a strong leadership base within the organization to keep the team on course and get everyone ready for another run at the cup. This team would not be where it is today if not for these players on the team. I am proud to announce this years Assistant Captains and our Captain who will lead this team for S28.

Dane Rowe!
Dane Rowe has been a quiet leader for this team since he joined via the S26 draft. He is the type to let his performance on the ice do the talking and he has shown that he always puts team first. Drafted as a centerman he has spent the first two years of his career playing on the wing due to the team having a ton of centerman already. The only time he was able to play his native position was on the rare occasion he was thrown out on a line with Raven Silverwing and Shane Gagner as an all-star line for the team. He never complained about being on the wing and showed every game that he is 100% for the team. Now in his third season with the team he is finally sliding into his favorite position at center and will be leaned on hard by his teammates and coaches to help get the Militia the Four Star Cup.

Sesugh Uhaa!
A 5th round pick in the S26 draft, Sesugh Uhaa came into the league as a little known prospect with small expectations. Uhaa has proven that he should have been taken higher in the draft and has become a rock on the point for Montreal. He has worked his way up the lineup since his rookie season, starting at the bottom, playing second line in his second year, and now finally getting top line minutes in his third season. Uhaa deserves a letter for much more than his play on the ice though. He is the biggest locker room presence on the team and is the glue that holds it together. There is nobody like Sesugh Uhaa and the team around him knows how lucky they are to share the locker room with this guy. Uhaa is the type of player who is virtually impossible to replace because of the presence he brings to the locker room. The Los Angeles Panthers are very lucky to have him in their system.

Raven Silverwing!
Taken just 9 picks before Sesugh Uhaa, Raven Silverwing has burst onto the SMJHL scene and proved he is one of the best players in the entire league. He is exactly what you want when looking for someone to lead your team. Raven is always a positive force there for his teammates and he led by example last season better than any other player in the league. Raven Silverwing has it all when you look for the person who deserves to have the "C" on their chest. He wore it with pride last season and after losing in the Four Star Cup finals in S27 he is more ready than ever to lead the S28 team to glory and finish what they could not last season.
