It does matter thanks to physics. F=ma, bruh. My philosophy when choosing a CHL: less rounds with bigger holes forces me to make my shots count.
Thats not my contention. If I shoot you with my .22,and I harm you, I've done what I've intended. At that point what does it matter the size of the round or the gun it came out of?

So MURICA, is different from other countries.
That's absolutely what i'm saying Smile)

When the hell was the last time you saw the American government send people into public protests dressed as civilians and murder opposition to the government like my father saw in Iran?

When was the last time an American government official came into your home and killed you because you weren't paying money to a cartel, like in Mexico and other South American countries?

Get real.

Well of course I mean America. This is a discussion about guns in America.

There is a reason why the West is the Free World. We are safe from our governments. We are safe from political fanatics like Isis ruling large swaths of land. Our ideologies do not support extermination and we are accepting of all faiths/religions/races everything. That's what makes us great.

We are not safe when somebody who decides they want to murder homosexual people can go to a store, while being on a Terrorism watch list, purchase an AR-15 and do just that in large quantities.

Don't compare America to Stalin, Hitler, North Korea blah blah. That's a comparison that you and I both know is a large fallacy.

You want to talk about fallacy's now? Should we go back to when you compared hunting with an AR-15 that fires a .223 to hunting with an RPG because "why not"?

Also, the part about being "safe" from our government sounds hilarious form someone who loves Obama, who signed off on rampant domestic espionage and the forgoing of due process for American citizens in the name of "National Security", not to mention the rapid militarization of our police force thanks to Military grade hand-me-downs.

You are so ignorant it would almost make me laugh if it didn't piss me right the fuck off.

I'm not comparing America to those governments. I'm using them as examples of when a government turns on its own people. Like I said, America hasn't done that. It probably never will.
I am sure EVERY government before that said that too lol.

So the people who are 2nd ammendment fanatics are no more able to adapt than the people who believe in the right to kill others because of a book written 2000-3000 years ago.[/b]

Have you ever tried to change an Americans views on their right to bear arms? If so, how much success did you have?

Probably about the same if you tried to change their religious views.

<!--QuoteBegin-mpc@Jun 14 2016, 08:09 PM
On a similar tangent, the test to get a CHL needs to be much more selective... People that are horrible shots get CHLs all the time, even without showing their abilities. That shit's dangerous.[/quote]

This. It's not so much for me that you can own a gun, I don't understand the need for assault rifles being in the hands of the general public but thats something else anyway, it's that ANY person with a heartbeat can seamingly go to the corner store and come home with two glocks and a remington 800.

can carry a gun =/= can properly use a gun

That's not my intention if you have a gun and are threatening me. My grandfather had a saying: "If you pull a gun, you better damn sure be intent on killing the person you're pointing it at." Guns are not meant to harm, they are meant for disposing of a threat. Bigger ammo has a better chance of ending a gun fight than small rounds. Rule of 3's in a shootout: 3 shots fired between the gunmen, the fight lasts 3 seconds, close to 33% accuracy in a shootout. I want my chances to be highest, so I'm bringing heat.

Hey remember that one time we put hundreds of thousands of civilians in internment camps just because their ancestors were from Japan, despite these particular civilians having done nothing wrong? Let's not act like America doesn't have the potential to do bad things to its own people.

Right, but we're not talking about responsible gun owners. We're not talking about a gun fight. We're not talking about people who were raised to respect firearms. Those aren't the ones causing the problems. We're talking about the people who kill innocent, unarmed civilians for their own deranged means. They don't abide by that creed, they don't abide by laws, and they sure as hell don't give a fuck what size ammo they're using.

True, but where to guns factor in, exactly?

Or the dwindling population of Natives thanks to all the broken treaties and promises.

A people continuously oppressed from day one and no one bats an eye.

Funny you mention a .22 in reference to cs comments. A larger bullet will likely pass through you but a .22 more than likely won't.

And if you get shot in the head, it normally loses the force necessary to exit the other wise, resulting in it ricocheting inside your skull.

Plus, .22 ammo is cheap and plentiful.

Could have fought back, if they had guns. I know for sure, people nowadays wouldn't be content with being forced to live in those shitty environments.

AH! I got it, you're talking about from the gunman's standpoint. I gotchu. Then yeah, they don't give a shit, but they also don't care if it's a gun. Why limit yourself? You could steal a truck and plow into the night club that way, poison the drinks, anthrax, etc. What you're wanting is for the US to have a law that limits the things terrorists can use as weapons, and there's always something new.
