Life Back Home
With the 30th SMJHL Entry Draft around the corner, life back home for the future SMJHL players can be both chaotic, and peaceful.</div>
Written By: Brandon Northwood

The 30th SMJHL Entry Draft is only a few days away, and right now, families across the world are feeling the heat. The Kaisers are no exception to this, as their eldest son, Isaac Kaiser, is one of the many players entered in the Entry Draft.

Isaac Kaiser, who is coming off of his third year with the Fredericton Midget AAA Monarchs, is one of the many overlooked prospects who are expected to go anywhere between the 1st Round and the 6th Round. Despite this insecurity about his draft position, he's keeping his thoughts positive. His parents on the other hand, are mostly in shock at the rate their eldest son has grown up.

"I can't believe how quickly life just, sped up. It was one day, he was 5 years old and wanted to try out ice hockey, and now he's getting drafted into a Major Junior League." Erik Kasier had spoken about his son's growth. "I'll never forget watching every game he played in. It looks like however, that we may not see him for a long time since a drive from Fredericton to Halifax and back is too exhausting for us."

"It's tough." Isaac's younger brother, Adam Kaiser explained to Junior Hockey's Future. "I mean, just looking at the path Isaac's taken, well, it sorta sets a path for me. I know that I want to also pursue hockey as a career as well. So, I dunno, I'll probably follow in his footsteps. Fingers crossed good stuff happens to both my big brother and myself."

But it's not just Kaiser's family who's feeling the excitement and anxiety for Isaac. His former teammates with the Monarchs are also nervous for him. Being with a team for so long, Isaac was bound to create friendships with his Midget AAA teammates.

"There's hundred words I could use to describe how I'm feeling for Isaac." Monarchs Captain, Zach Beaumarchais, told Junior Hockey's Future. "The guy was super classy and a hilarious person with the Monarchs. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous of him too, but I can only wish him the best of luck and tell him to come watch some of our games next year when he's in town."

"Really don't want to believe he's growing up like this." Celine Kaiser had spoken about Isaac. "I don't. He's growing up too quickly. I'll definitely miss him around the house. He was one of our most outgoing family members, whether if it was in sports or helping around the house."

Isaac Kaiser joins fellow New Brunswicker Niklas Flowers in attending the 30th Simulation Major Junior Hockey League Entry Draft. Both of these players had played against each other three times in the past NBMAAAHL season, with Flowers' team beating the Monarchs all three times.

"Everyone's gonna miss him." Beaumarchais told Junior Hockey's Future. "Both the team, the school and his family. Can't stress enough how happy I am for the guy."

Thanks man. Articles are my thing I guess, especially the whole "Live the Life" aspect.
