So guys, I did a re- simulation of the NHL from 1931-2016 to see what would change, the answer is... A lot, so my question is there anything you'd like to know?
NOTE: This was completely hands off, teams still moved regardless of success For myself, The Bruins only won the Cup 3 times, last in 1941... So I like real life better. UPDATED WITH CHAMPIONS: 1930-31 Canadiens 1931-32 Maple Leafs 1932-33 Rangers 1933-34 Rangers 34-35 Maroons 35-36 Bruins 36-37 Maple Leafs 37-38 Canadiens 38-39 Canadiens 39-40 Canadiens 40-41 Bruins 41-42 Canadiens 42-43 Canadiens 43-44 Canadiens 44-45 BlackHawks 45-46 Canadiens 46-47 Canadiens 47-48 Canadiens 48-49 Maple Leafs 49-50 Rangers 50-51 Red Wings 51-52 Canadiens 52-53 Black Hawks 53-54 Rangers 54-55 Maple Leafs 55-56 Black Hawks 56-57 Rangers 57-58 Rangers 58-59 Rangers 59-60 Rangers 60-61 Maple Leafs 61-62 Rangers 62-63 Maple Leafs 63-64 Maple Leafs 64-65 BlackHawks 65-66 Maple Leafs 66-67 Canadiens 67-68 BlackHawks 68-69 Maple Leafs 69-70 North Stars 70-71 Maple Leafs 71-72 Canadiens 72-73 Blackhawks 73-74 North Stars 74-75 North Stars 75-76 Flyers 76-77 Barons 77-78 Penguins 78-79 Penguins 79-80 Penguins 80-81 Rangers 81-82 Sabres 82-83 North Stars 83-84 Sabres 84-85 Islanders 85-86 Rangers 86-87 Canucks 87-88 Rangers 88-89 Penguins 89-90 Penguins 90-91 Penguins 91-92 Blackhawks 92-93 Penguins 93-94 Penguins 94-95 Blackhawks 95-96 Whalers 96-97 Flames 97-98 Blackhawks 98-99 Canadiens 99-2000 Hurricanes '00-'01 Hurricanes 01-02 Coyotes 02-03 Hurricanes 03-04 Lightning 04-05 Senators 05-06 Senators 06-07 Blue Jackets 07-08 Avalanche 08-09 Sharks 09-10 Avalanche 10-11 Coyotes 11-12 Capitals 12-13 Jets 13-14 Blue Jackets 14-15 Flames 15-16 Rangers

Habs, how many cups.
What do Koivu's individual numbers look like. Does he stay with the Habs instead of leaving? “The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. ... There are neither beginnings nor endings to the Wheel of Time. But it was a beginning.”

Saku spent some time with Chicago, Nashville, and Colorado capturing 2 titles with the Avs, he had 578 points (166 goals, 412 assists) and retired in 2011, his best season was in 2001-02 with 70.

He even won the MVP in 2007. Surprisingly he never scored over 100 points in his career. Unfortunately, LA where he spent his whole career never won a title. Richard retired in Chicago, where he spent his whole career, putting up 1153 points in 1089 games he was a three MVP, He won 3 (?) cups I believe. Gretzky is the GOAT, Spending his entire career in QC/Colorado he scored 1,100 goals, 2744 points, 10 MVPS, 5 scoring titles 9 points titles.. AND ZERO CUPS. I don't even think the ever got to the finals with him despite being seeded high in his entire career.

Thornton: Spent basically his whole Career in San Jose, (some things just work out I guess) winning 1 Cup in 09. He was 3 time MVP and retired with 1077 points Allison: only played 10 years, retired at 29 for the Rangers, ending with 493 points in 713 games Carter: Was a complete bust, 133 points over 469 games, 9 years in the league with Washington Pittsburgh, and New Jersey.
