To be fair, the SHL is very much like Westeros.

In both worlds, The Night King and his White <s>Knights</s> Walkers is slowly, inexorably taking over the world, whilst the petty Kings and Lords waste their time fighting with each other, while new characters keep popping up, ala Ramsay Bolton, only to find themselves massacred brutally by someone they tried to overthrow.

Does the SHL have a Khaleesi or Jon Snow who can become the King and Queen the league needs to prevent The Endless Winter from grasping the realms in its relentless grip?

The SHL definitely has a Khaleesi and Jon Snow,but the question is whether league hierarchy allows them step into power. Your analogy is wrong because in the end no one can just rise up, they have to be selected- and chances are the people who should be, won't be.

Merica is totally Stannis the Mannis, also wasn't Maxy literally Jon Snow and Deener is Deenerarys? If anyone is preventing them from arriving it's you by fighting for everyone to not get drafted. Their coming cannot be prophesized now.

And, as far as I know, none have said they intend to try and bypass the SHL Draft, they are willing to take their chances .

Now, as far as doing Pont Tasks, nothing in the Rules forbids a non-playing player from doing them. HOWEVER - any current Point Tasks they are NOT eligible for since they have not created their player yet, so they will not be able to claim TPE for doing PTs when their players were not even created yet. I don't think that is unfair or unreasonable, for how can a player earn TPE when they do not exist yet?

Otherwise, none of this is against any rules, and, irregular and unusual as it is, there's nothing wrong with it.

Agree there's no reason they can't sit out and not sign if they don't want to. Only argument I could see against them doing PTs is can you really consider someone that hasn't signed an SMJHL contract, and will never play a game in the SMJHL, as an SMJHL player? if the wording of PTs was changed to 'SXX SHL Draftees only', that would include them, but I have a hard time considering a player that never plays nor shows any intention to play in the SMJHL as an SMJHL player. Either way it doesn't really bother me.
