So you recreate post draft, making you a FA. You decline all offers, and remain a FA until the SHL draft. You then enter the SHL draft from there, going wherever?

You miss out on any pre-draft TPE and in-season team related TPE (is that a thing? I don't remember) opportunities; but can start doing SMJHL PTs as of now, basically.

It's well played, and apparently within the rules. Despite the fact that it's against the spirit of the rules, and it feels like a bit of a ripoff to all those who are going through the process in a "normal" way, no one can really say "you can't do this!".

It is kind of a bummer that there's a "we're too good for that bullshit" mentality amongst some of the foremost members of the community; but, at least you're being strategic about it, which I respect.

I love how everybody who has no idea what the rules actually are, chimes in with inaccurate information

Yeah there's a reason why we triple checked the rules before going through with this, unfortunately just about everyone else didn't even bother to check before coming in here like a boss arm chair quarterback.

It's not really a secret anymore that you guys actually will all sign with one team in the SMJHL, but I admire your effort in keeping up the facade

Omg how will we ever do without 50 TPE over the course of a 10 season career. Its almost like skipping one training every week

Like I said, I admire your dedication to hard mode. Especially the second season you don't play because your players are too shitty for the SHL, when better SMJHL players are available.
