I've been thinking about the fantasy teams each year, and the snake draft makes things a bit weird. I love the auction draft: shows who's the best manager and who can think long-term for filling out positions instead of wasting all your money up front for one guy and having to basically select from the bottom of the barrel for everything else.

I want to try that in the SHL format, so I open this up to you, the league: Let's have a fantasy group do auction draft.
- $1M SHL buy-in
- Winner gets half of the total pot ($4M)
- 2nd gets $2M, 3rd and 4th get $1M each
- Last place has to put something in their sig for the total of next season that the rest of the group decides upon
- Auction-style draft where order determines who is being bid upon
- 12 hours to place your bid on the player at hand or say you're out
- If you don't nominate a player in 12 hours, you get skipped
- $100 to use for auction, minimum bid $1, max bet is ($100 - ($1 x # of roster spots not occupied))
- Must post bid amount and money remaining after bid
- You can bid more than once per player in the 12 hour window
- If a bid doesn't result in you getting the player, you get the money back
- Player page for position, 6 players: FFFDDG
- 1 add/drop for the season

Run it through this thread, keep tabs each week thanks to Bojo's fantasy machine. First 7 to claim spots determines who gets teams/order of nomination, with myself placed in 5th arbitrarily.

Yeah, salary cap for the draft. You use the $100 to bid on players for the draft, and that's your "cap".

I can do it on a weekly basis, or as often as stuff is updated in the sim.
