I'm very unhappy to have to announce this. This is just a very unfortunate set of events and since the rules don't leave wiggle room, this has to be done.

North Stars GM RaiN has been found tampering with a player on another team. Having just been named GM, RaiN sought out a co-GM, but unfortunately he approached the player about it before talking to their GM. RaiN PMed said GM to discuss acquiring the player after the player said they would be interested in the co-GM spot. The GM was not happy about this. RaiN came forward and let me know about the situation. He thought he was able to seek out a co-GM and then work out a trade, but the rule is very clear. You cannot reach out to any player on another team and talk about joining your own.

We all know the punishment is harsh for tampering. RaiN is going to start out his tenure behind the blocks, but we hope he is able to overcome this and try to bring success to the Toronto North Stars.

Punishment:
Loss of three first round draft picks (S33 TOR 1st, S34 TOR 1st, S35 TOR 1st)
Inability to sign any free agents for one full season (cannot sign any free agents for all of S32)
Suspension of GM's player for entire season (Andrey Barbashev cannot play for ALL of S32, playoffs included)
$10,000,000 fine to the team (Budget for S32 falls from $65.0mil to $55.0mil)
