Day 1
They have welcomed me into the clan with mixed emotions.


I'm hoping to do one of these weekly where I will answer all your questions. Before I begin I just want to say SHL is a great community, and I want it to be even better. Our clashing of personalities may seem offsetting, but it's what actually brings us closer together and push us forward as a group.

I will release another post with plans about what I want to do either today or tomorrow, but I wanted to answer these first.

There's no rule for it. I understand concerns about a GM being commissioner. Keep in mind Leaf4ever will still be present to keep me "in check" if need be. I hope that in the 2.5 years I've been here I've shown that I care about the whole league including the player builder app, the bojo machine stats, and the many various jobs I've had around the league including League Advisor. Does the league have any money left from donations?

I think recruitment has always been the top priority. But there also needs to be realistic expectations for how many people expect to come into the league every season. I believe it's fortunate that we're going to be recruiting around time shortly after thanksgiving, as it's probably the time most likely to grab new people within this time frame.

I'm not afraid to toss a Benjamin on advertisement if necessary. But I need your help to find out what place would be the best to do something like that.

Also better incentives for not just bringing people in, but keeping them. I think that should be obvious.

I don't know how much money we have or even who has it. But I can use my own funds to provide if needed.
