<div align="center">For the first time in a while, the Platoon let their players vote on who they wanted as their captains. They were almost unanimous for who would wear the 'C' but it came down to a very small difference for the two alternates, which is a great sign for the future of our franchise in my opinion. Here are the results.

Our first alternate captain for the S32 season is… Klaus Wagner!

Pandar is such an amazing teammate. He has our team at heart and gives the Platoon a great reputation outside of our LR. He writes really interesting articles every now and then that help us see the league in a different way. In the locker room, he is nice with everybody and is always interested in discussing various subjects with his teammates.

He often underestimates himself but our team wouldn't be a contender every season if it wasn't for him. I'm glad our teammates recognized his contribution to the Platoon, as well as his leadership with their votes.

Our second alternate captain for the S32 season is… Ales Smirnov!

Our co GM for some of our most successful seasons in the recent years, Oats is a mentor to many people here. When I was first drafted by the Platoon, he was the only guy I even had a clue who he was. Now that I'm trying my best to learn how to be a competent co GM, I know I can always count on him for advice. He's such a fun guy to know and only has the team's success on his mind. It seems the rest of the team feels the same way I do, since he was chosen by many of them.

Aaaannnndd for our captain, it's without much surprise that I announce that Slappy McDoodle will be wearing the 'C' this season!

Slappy is one of the nicest, funniest people on this site and I feel bad for anyone who can't share a LR with him. Even when he could've been on the first line with some teams, and on the second with most, he never complained about the role that was given to him and never even thought of leaving our team to get more ice time.

During most of our first season, it's awkward to get to know new people and "feel at home" in our new LR but Slappy is the guy who will make you feel like one the gang as soon as you are drafted. He was the most logical choice for our captain and I'm happy the rest of my teammates chose him.
