well, guess what? this is my 5th season here. I deserve a chance.

Try starting from the bottom.

Smaller jobs.

Apply for the co-GM spot.

Just because you've been around doesn't you deserve it.

When will you be deciding?

And @ Zack, Snappy, Dion, Brett and anyone else:

There are tons and tons of members on this forum. There are only but so many jobs and not everyone can get a job. You guys can't get upset that you don't get a job. You have to realize that there are soo many deserving applicants. Your time will come if you guys just keep your cool and keep applying.

Trust me, I had more experience than almost anyone and kept getting passed over. I finally got the chance as the Outlaws GM, but stepped down over stupid reasons. I eventually talked to Brandon and he traded for me to make me the new Platoon GM. Don't give up tbh

Seniority is overrated to be honest. Sure its a good thing but amazing dedication for one season is better then average dedication for 3-4 seasons. This applies with myself and granted it was easier back then to get a GM job but non the less I have climbed the mountain as fast as anyone can. Im proof that you dont have to be around for 4-5 seasons and have to have a name-tag to get major jobs. Just stay dedicated and be as active as I was and good things will happen.

You got it, bang on there Wink

Seriously though, it's not like you werent considered... but back when I WAS personally a junior in the NWJHL and u were the 'co gm' of the team you were no where to be found. The season that Enthropi went awohl it took you a few days to get back to us to let us now you hadnt heard from him. We were looking for more of an active set of GMs and you didn't fit the criteria at the time. And Enthropi was let go, so him promising you a job he was relieved from doesn't matter...

Well, I apologize for telling you at the beginning of the post that I've been having computer problems.

Other than the computer crashes, I was on every day, more active than most! PLUS, i was pre-occupied on getting the lines on first, and that to me was more important than replying to a junior player's message.

Don't tell me that I wasn't doing my fucking job back then when I was working my ass off to get everything in.

All you gotta do is befriend the GM with the semi-active co-gm who's taking grade 12 calculus the year after and can't be the Co-GM so you can take his spot... oh wait that was me Tongue

You weren't hired from within? It's a lot easier to take over GM of a team when the guy steps down. No application process, dude names his successor.

And seniority is not overrated, you simply cannot be more active than us active season 1 guys. It's not "average" dedication with people that sign on every day and post often, etc, for a few years

I'm not saying you're wrong. Hoggie was made Co-Commish after one season, Deezy, and Stud, Myself were all made GM's after one season, you were made Co-GM half way through your season

But honestly Seth do you think any of those who are saying they got shafted in this thread, were in the same category last season as the ones mentioned above? Not saying anything about those guys but I'd say that really the only 2 people who applied that really went above and beyond last season, that we had to eliminate was WadeyB and Fever95.

Thank you to My boys @Merica and @Ragnar for the lovely sigs!

a lot of times co gms will be asked to do the job by the gm so its hard to get that job, i remember applying for jobs back when i didnt have a life and was on here all day and always getting turned down cause of seniority, and u cant claim that post whores dont have an advantage

I got my junior Co-GM job getting traded to the Outlaws and Dylan named me Co-GM..

Then I applied for an expansion junior team and was awarded the Falcons..

Then JayMac needed a successor for the Comets and he came to me, and Nathan traded me to Edmonton and I was named GM...

I worked my ass off for what I have here now. Anyone can vouch for me on that one.

It was a PM from the Junior Commissioner bud. Not a Junior Player. We asked if you knew where Enthropi had been and it took a few days to get the response.
