Now that the joke has run its course, I'm going to actually write this out. I'm in my final season under contract with Seattle, and am likely going to be available in free agency. This gives you GM's a full season to look over your budget and make room for an oldie but goodie Wink

Things I care about:
- Strong Team, I don't mind playing lesser minutes if it gets me a Cup. That's the one thing I really want before I retire.
- Enjoyable LR, if I can't make jokes in your LR, don't bother.

Without further ado, here are my free agent rankings.

Platoon

WEST KENDALL PLATOON Platoon

This was my first home on this site, other than St. Louis, and it's where I would like to retire as a player. When I was drafted there, it was unexpected first of all, but after the shock had passed, I really thought I'd stay there until my player retired. Evidently, however, that was not the case. Still, I would love to go there and be part of the group once again, until my player kicks the dust.

Riot

SEATTLE RIOT Riot

Coming here wasn't a big shock, really, as they were my second choice in my last round of free agency. I think the turning point was when I was told they didn't have any room for <a href='index.php?showuser=1263' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-59'>kit</a> on the team, and that kit and <a href='index.php?showuser=537' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-8'>Schultzy</a> were going to sign in Buffalo. But I'm glad I got traded to this team, I've been here for only a short time and it's already become my second home. I really like the players we have on the team, and I mean...@Abdeezy is a beast of a goalie, it's not everyday you get to play with a goalie like that (unless you're on Seattle, ayyyy). Also, the rookies we drafted are phenomenal. <a href='index.php?showuser=2436' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-17'>galatix</a> is one person I really enjoyed GM'ing in Colorado, and <a href='index.php?showuser=2485' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-59'>Sorator</a> is a great member I've really wanted to get to know (I wanted to draft him too, but that didn't work out). Really, I could go down the list and mention everyone, but I'm tired and I kinda just wanna finish this.

EDMONTON BLIZZARD

This was the team that was supposed to draft me 16th overall, in S20. I still remember that conversation I had with <a href='index.php?showuser=232' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-24'>JayWhy</a> the night before the draft and thinking "Man, I really hope I get drafted here". @tez was one of the first members on this site to believe that I can amount to anything, and that was great. I'm not sure how active he is these days, but he was resigned so I mean, there's a chance! I've always really wanted to go here, really. I think <a href='index.php?showuser=1208' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-59'>EuroCap</a> is there? Who even knows, who cares.

PS: <a href='index.php?showuser=1654' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-13'>Allegiant</a> was a really cool guy when I was still in the St. Louis locker room, so it'd be nice to talk to him again.

LOS ANGELES PANTHERS

A great team that I've played for already. I didn't get to experience any success with them, and only played one season there, not even a season cuz I was traded at the deadline. I knew they would be a great team after a few years, I'm pretty sure I said that in the LR when I left, and it's nice to see them doing well. <a href='index.php?showuser=2241' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-10'>NYRangers3061</a> is on that team and he was one of my latest star pupils (ya, I'm a great teacher...yet not a rookie mentor, how bow dat) It would be nice to go back there and change how I think of my time with the team, from "what could have been" to "what was".

Jets

WINNIPEG JETS Jets

This is a team that always had been in the back of my mind. <a href='index.php?showuser=1722' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-13'>Nereus</a> is a great buddy of mine and I would love to be on a team led by him. Elyk, I believe is on there and he's a pretty good player, so that'd be cool. The only thing bringing this team down in the rankings, other than the shaky goaltending (you ruined my fantasy team tbh) is the fact I don't know many people on there. Is Jack still active on here?

TEXAS RENEGADES

I really enjoyed my time on this team, and a couple people that I spoke to the most on there aren't active anymore I don't think. <a href='index.php?showuser=476' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-8'>bbp</a> and Deener, did Deener change his username? I don't remember. Anyway, there are a bunch of great guys there, but I just don't think this is the right time for me to go back.

Dragons

CALGARY DRAGONS Dragons

Calgary has been one of the best teams in the league as of late. I feel like they and New England have been winning the Cup every season for as long as I can remember. I also think I just exposed how short my memory is. It would be nice to play with Esa and <a href='index.php?showuser=171' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-52'>Wongy</a>, we'll see. They've never offered me a contract during free agency so I'm not sure.

NEW ENGLAND WOLFPACK

As I said for Calgary, this team is a true powerhouse. I think they've only not been at the top of the conference a couple times since I've been on SHL. <a href='index.php?showuser=1159' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-56'>prettyburn</a> is one of the most respected members of this site, and it'd be nice to hang out in an LR with her. I'm not too sure about the others on the team, oh well there's eggy. Also like Calgary, I've never been offered a contract by them, so we'll see.

:admirals: PORTLAND ADMIRALS :admirals:
Portland is very promising, but I'm not sure how long it'll be for them to be a top tier team, they kind of remind me of Los Angeles when I was there. <a href='index.php?showuser=2331' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>Shadowz1797</a> is on that team and he is an awesome young player, it would be fun to play alongside someone I mentored while GMing Colorado, but again, I want to win now and I don't know where they'll be in a couple seasons.

Stars

TORONTO NORTH STARS Stars

I don't know many people on Toronto, but I think it'd be a little weird since I was on West Kendall and there used to be some sort of rivalry-like thing. I know a couple people on here, but I don't know anything about how they're doing. I will consider a contract from them, but we'll see how it goes.

Rage

MANHATTAN RAGE Rage

Manhattan is a team I've never been really interested in. It's not that I don't like them, I just have never really communicated with anyone on that team. In fact, I don't even know who's on that team anymore. I think JayWhy is there? And Kez, but...that's all I can think of.

HAMILTON STEELHAWKS

I don't know many people on Hamilton, other than Hallsy (whatever his username is these days), <a href='index.php?showuser=2292' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>Eichelele</a>, and <a href='index.php?showuser=2265' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>LosGlennos</a>. Unfortunately, they're not going to be winning the Cup any time soon, so I won't be going there.

Chiefs

MINNESOTA CHIEFS Chiefs

I don't know much about this team, I think they're in rebuild mode? I know they have ArGarBarGarararararar and Banananov, but other than that, I'm not too sure.

BUFFALO STAMPEDE

I'm sorry, I can't go back here due to my first team requirement. There are a few people on the team that were there when I was there, and they're awesome members, but I just can't do this at this point in time.

I will not be making a rankings post next offseason, what you read is what you get for that time. These are my thoughts and probably won't change much until then. Good luck to all the teams this season!

To say the least, I'm very disappointed to not even be the first goalie off the board. Here I thought people would want the proven guy who runs the sim.
