Funny...back when I got the GM job it was so much easier...Cezar went inactive and I simply PMed the commishes telling them I could look over the team until he gets back...which never did happen.

New guys deserve a chance, like I got, but senior members also deserve a chance. Just like any job in real life you have to go the extra distance to show you want it.

You guys should have seen Boon's and Deener's expansion applications, they were incredible, and you could tell they put tons of time and effort and were sincere about wanting the job.

lol I remember Deener's app........ He had a 4 page word doc describing a season by season plan on how his franchise would be run....... My mind=Blown

As far as I'm concerned, you give it to the best applicant by experience so that the players going through the organization get the best experience on the team, rather then having they're career hindered by some newbie GM who has no idea what he's doing and subsequently fucks they're season up.
