According to sources inside the SHL Head Office the Buffalo Stampede have been caught red handed breaking the same rule that put multiple other SHL franchises in shambles. GM ThatDamnWalrus has been caught tampering with superstar free agent Reed Laing. Laing has been notified that she will be bought out by the Portland Admirals come season end, but she is still technically a member of the Admirals and thus off limits to the other 11 teams. Our investigators were able to get their hands on one of the text messages that TDW sent to Laing.
As you can see...it's a pretty cut and dry case of tampering.
Although the Head Office has found cold hard proof of tampering, they allegedly plan to do nothing about it.
No punishment for the Stampede?!
If you're an Admiral fan that must be a tough pill to swallow. But again this is how the SHL works at times...rules are enforced when the powers that be decide to enforce them. Seeing as one of the most influential voices in the Head Office plays for the Stampede, you can only come to the conclusion that he is voicing his biased opinion on the matter.
