<span style='font-family:Times'><div align="center">The S34 SMJHL draft has ended, and draftees are readying for the SMJHL pre-season coming up tomorrow. Skates are being sharpened, hockey sticks are being wraped with tapes. However, there is one prospect who missed the draft, due to the Younited Airline delay. The event indeed caused a stir on the internet, negative news of the airline in the past are being dug up, in response to the moderator's decision to delete the video relating to the incident.





"There was this guy who refused to leave the plane due to overbooking," Kikkoman said, "you cant really blame the customer in that case".


"This guy" is referred to as the person who was dragged down the plane aisle, and hit his face while being forced to do so.


Shoyu Kikkoman, a 16 year old Vancouverite who had stellar performance in the SMJHL joint junior scounting, unfortunately missed the opportunity to be on the drafting stage.





"Teams were calling, my parents and friends were calling me, asking where are you in the draft, and I said: hey, what can you do".


Ready to play in the league, but missed the draft due to bad luck, Kikkoman is now contacting SMJHL teams out there, hoping they will sign him. Odds are not against him though, as some scouts contacted us, saying that SMJHL is in need of some defensive power, which is the role Kikkoman plays in the team.


"It is also very important to be drafted by a team, you get access to the effecient training equiment that you can't get on your own".


Not only is Kikkoman's draft experience interesting, Kikkoman is also known to be personal good friend with the retired SHL player Arton Laxk. Laxk, despite having an impressive junior career, regressed immensely due to lack of practicing in the SHL. Perhaps relationship with Laxk can provide the connections Kikkoman needs to be signed by SMJHL team.


"Laxk is really my idol growing up, I really liked him in the juniors when I was little. And then there is this one ball where I met him, and we've become friends from then on, or mentor even".


Same with Laxk, with the nickname "surstromming," Kikkoman has certain standard towards food.


"You need the soy sauce, they go well with rice, eggs, bagels, you name it."
