I mean at this point I'd rather not trade him unless I was getting minimum of a 1st rounder back if I was a GM. Reason being 1: He's lost all respect in regards to putting players first with these shenanigans. If someone wants to be traded to enjoy the site again I understand that, but dragging my name through the mud to try and force me to do so leaves me feeling no sympathy for you and I don't owe you anything. 2: Even at 15% TPE off Mac is going to be able to help out a team for minimum of a season or two. So why bother helping out another team while helping out public enemy #1, AND taking minimal value back to do so. And lastly it'd be a nice stick it to him moment to watch him spend his few months off trying to build a sustainable build with a new player. I'd have been in support of trading him until these last remarks about Deezy which is a massive low blow to someone you called a friend in this very thread

Yup, made this mistake when I ended up giving into Alex to make him happy and move him to Texas for 2 3rds. I mean he retired shortly after, but I stuck it to him for a season or two then caved like the sad man I am

The worst part is, we tried to give him what he wants. We put him on the block, and we shopped him but we got 1 offer, an inactive 600 TPE player with a 4.5M cap hit. that would be hurting our team more than giving Mac away for free, as we'd scratch the player and pay 4.5M for him to be scratched :lol: This was before he retired too, so I bet that offer wouldn't even still be good after all this.

In the head office there is (or used to be idk if there is anymore) a place where you post all trades in there before announcing publicly and there were quite a few trades made in the playoffs that had been posted in there that just weren't public until after the playoffs in my tenure as GM
