Kelowna, BC - As always, before we announce the new letters, the Kelowna Knights begin our season with a few goodbyes to players who are moving on. Our biggest goodbye is undoubtedly the one we bid to alternate captain Leafer Rielly as he continues his huge comeback of a career in West Kendall. We also wave goodbye to hitting machine Robert Haugen as he moves to Hamilton and send a shoutout to aged-out UFAs like Adriana Starosta and Lykke Bergfalk who have been filling our roster for the past five seasons. Thank you for your service to the round table! Once a Knight, always a Knight.

Now for the fun part! Returning to our roster for his fourth and final season is Captain John Langabeer. The man, the legend, the guy you have to go to for your waffles because he has the waffle iron. We're super thrilled to have him leading us once again.

Wearing an A this season will be Mike Izzy! A total steal for us in the draft last season, Izzy has been steadily proving himself on the ice and in the media. We're excited to see him step up into a leadership role and set some more good luck bonfires in our locker room.

Our second A was voted on in the locker room, and rookie Clint Eastwood got the nod from teammates and alumni. We were thrilled to be able to draft him after he finished out last season with us as a free agent, and we have no doubt that he'll live up to the responsibility his team chose him for.

In addition to our S35 captaincy announcement, as you may have already noticed, the Kelowna Knights Organization are proud to announce our partnership with Adidas' Adizero line in updating to our new jerseys for this season! The rebrand is bringing us a much more modern look, that coupled with our new and young core, is something we're excited to bring to the table going forward! With plenty of new faces on the team, new uniforms, and a strong leadership presence, we're eager to show the SMJHL what Kelowna hockey is all about! Let's go Knights!
