Btw, to all of you who get their panties in a bunch because you fear that a re-sim would rob your team of its game one win: that's not how this works. IF there was a re-sim, it would likely be set up in a way where the simmer sims until the three other games all have the same winner as in the original sim. Once this situation occurs, this is the re-sim that would "count", at least this is how it was handled way back in the past, when we last had a re-sim in the playoffs.
Again, I don't think there will be a re-sim nor am I sure that there shuld be, but if there was one then the only game that could potentially end up having a different winner would be the New England - Buffalo games. Every other series would stay the same, different goal totals maybe, but same winners.

And this is supposed to prove what exactly? This is TDW making changes for game 2 before even realizing what had happened in game 1. going by our discord he wasn't made aware that our back-up was played until 9:42 am. Also, the changes made in this update were skater changes (PK, extra forwards etc) while goalies weren't even touched. In fact, Holmes was always marked as the starter in our line thread and that never changed even when Anderson was supposed to be put in for specific games over the regular season.
let's kickstart <a href='index.php?showuser=232' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-24'>JayWhy</a> a second monitor for real tho

In all honesty, I just want to see a rule in place to eliminate this hear-say line adjustments. As I told Walrus, it takes maybe an extra 30 seconds to bold the goalie change and avoid swapping issues. Whether JY says it is okay, with how many changes there is too much opportunity for human error based on remembering to do small adjustments, while all it would take is a simple change in the OP and posting update to alleviate this and many other errors from the sounds of past issues.
I honestly have no clue how he remembers half the shit he does.
And yes <a href='index.php?showuser=232' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-24'>JayWhy</a> we need to get you a second monitor

That'd be fine by me, it doesn't even have to be a rule necessarily, it could also just be a post by the simmer stating "Please post goalie changes in format x". But as it stands people have been using different formats for a while now and the simmer was fine with them. Buffalo did the exact same thing over the course of the regular season and I know of other teams who have use the same format as well. There was never an issue with it, so I don't think it's fair to blame the GM for it when all of a sudden things go wrong because of a slip-up by the simmer, which he already admitted and apologized for.

sneaky edit
the last line change on BUFs end was 7-12[/quote]
That's exactly my point. The last changes were made before the last regular season sim, because TDW assumed everything was taken care of (which it was, until JY was interrupted mid-sim). The skater changes that happened right after the sim were reactions to the sim results, before TDW had even noticed the goalie issue.

Holy shit you are incredibly ignorant of the situation. You clearly don't know what the fuck you are talking about. The update posted this morning was for lines themselves, not a goalie change. The goalie change should have been made after the final sim of the regular season. Jy admitted he was doing this when he got sidetracked. This update is completely separate from Holmes being in net or not.

You sure like to talk out of your ass without any knowledge of the situation.
