Hello SHL,

It has come to our attention that the Edmonton Blizzard is currently above the $70,000,000 salary cap allowed during the S39 Regular Season. Upon completing a trade with the Manhattan Rage, the Blizzard are $500,000 above the allowed salary cap of $70,000,000. Because of this, we are forced to enact a penalty of $1,000,000 towards the Edmoton Blizzard's S40 budget.

If a team spends more than their budget allows, a fine will be assessed toward the following season’s budget equal to twice the amount of the surplus.

The punishment will be as follows:
- The Edmonton Blizzard must clear $500,000 in salary immediately.
- $1,000,000 will be subtracted from the Edmonton Blizzard budget for S40.
