29. (S34) LW (Toronto North Stars) - Elias Lindstrom || New Entry
Grade: 88.80
Past Seasons: None

At 29 is North Stars Winger Elias Lindstrom, a new entry on the list and doing so with reckless abandon as he scored 21 goals and 54 points, one of the best seasons we have seen from a newcomer in the history of this list. Lindstrom is even getting in on the physical play early in his career, and with room to grow can get even better in all aspects of the game.

28. (S31) C (Winnipeg Jets) - Jasson Visser || -25
Grade: 89
Past Seasons: S36-49, S37-6, S38-4, S39-3

At 28 is Jason Visser of the Jets, the center who had a good run in the top-10 for three seasons, but is on the outside looking in once again as he scored a mere 23 goals and 45 points. Still incredibly good and something to be proud of, but when you score 50, 60, or 70 points in a season (or all of the above) you are going to have higher expectations than other players. Especially when you are also known for the physical stuff but have been getting worse in that regard.

27. (S31) G (Minnesota Chiefs) - Olli O'Koivu || +62
Grade: 89
Past Seasons: S38-86, S39-89

At 27 is Olli O'Koivu of the Minnesota Chiefs, Challenge Cup Winner and up and coming top-tier goaltender who quickly took up the mantle in Minnesota and is impressing with every single season he plays. O'Koivu went 26-14-5 in S39, with a .912 save percentage (5th among goaltenders) and even registering 5 shutouts on the season, something Minnesota has not seen for a long time.

26. (S31) RW (Calgary Dragons) - Joe Kurczewski || -8
Grade: 89.20
Past Seasons: S37-44, S38-18, S39-18

At 26 is Joe Kurczewski of the Dragons, falling out of the top-20 (but not too far from it), scoring 17 goals and 47 points, registering 210 shots (something that is typical with the forward), and 147 hits (a little lower than we have seen of him in previous seasons. Kurczewski is older than most people think, but has already fleshed out a pretty solid career for himself, demonstrating the scouting staff in Calgary can find some of the best players in the league year in and year out.

25. (S31) D (Calgary Dragons) - Adam Kaiser || +17
Grade: 89.30
Past Seasons: S38-88, S39-42

At 25 is another Calgary Dragon, Adam Kaiser, who is in the top-30 for the first time scoring 8 goals and 43 points, hoping to take the successful run in Hamilton to Western Canada. Kaiser has also been underrated in his two-way game, playing well defensively and being a tough guy to play against with his fourth season with over 100 hits.

24. (S28) RW (West Kendall Platoon) - Mikko Linna || +14
Grade: 89.40
Past Seasons: S32-76, S33-81, S34-98, S35-61, S36-48, S37-48, S38-17, S39-38

At 24 is S28 Platoon winger Mikko Linna, still putting up 40 point seasons with 17 goals and 48 points, something that people do not expect year after year from this guy, but get it anyway. Linna has seen his physical game drop from previous years, though, so it is possible his offensive effectiveness will decline as well with regression.

23. (S28) RW (New England Wolfpack) - Dieter Dominique || +27
Grade: 89.80
Past Seasons: S34-51, S35-86, S36-59, S37-73, S38-59, S39-50

At 23 is Wolfpack winger dieter Dominique, coming back up after what some thought might be the end of his days in the top-100, scoring 25 goals and 49 points, registering a whopping 232 shots, and even setting a career high in hits with 90. Dominique is one of those "go about your business" players, not showing a lot of flash but still producing, whether it is a lot or just a little.

22. (S21) D (Minnesota Chiefs) - Alonzo Garbanzo || -15
Grade: 90
Past Seasons: S23-59, S24-76, S25-18, S26-30, S27-13, S28-3, S29-15, S30-6, S31-4, S32-4, S33-9, S34-2, S35-5, S36-2, S37-3, S38-3, S39-7

At 22 is Alonzo Garbanzo of the Chiefs, an old player who is starting to show signs of it, scoring only 8 goals and 33 points, the lowest of his career since way back in S23 where he scored only 27 points. However, he has been on a pretty fantastic run, scoring 30 or more points in the last 16 straight seasons, and could continue that in S40.

21. (S28) G (Edmonton Blizzard) - Michael McFadden || +5
Grade: 90.10
Past Seasons: S31-73, S32-73, S33-56, S34-58, S35-21, S36-26, S37-42, S38-16, S39-26

At 21 is Blizzard goaltender Michael McFadden, rising up a few spots with a half decent season where he went 24-17-2 and registered a .908 save percentage. McFadden is quite spry for his older age, and is still showing the younger goaltenders in the league that he still has what it takes to win and win big. All he needs now is a Challenge Cup.

20. (S26) C (Texas Renegades) - Sven Karlsson || +32
Grade: 90.20
Past Seasons: S29-85, S30-61, S31-78, S32-74, S33-46, S34-90, S35-63, S36-56, S37-60, S38-46, S39-52

At 20 is Renegades center Sven Karlsson, with one of his best seasons yet, scoring 15 goals and 51 points, a +17 on the year, and demonstrating a lot of determination as an old veteran in the league. If you want to talk about Texas as the model franchise when it comes to player responsibility and dedication to the sport, just point to Sven Karlsson as your example.

Alonzo Garbanzo Final Tallies (Among Defensemen):
2nd in Goals (208), All-Time Assists Leader (765)*, All-Time Points Leader (973), 3rd in Hits (2587), All-Time Blocked Shots Leader (1882)*

19. (S29) G (Calgary Dragons) - Richard C. Hocolate || +79
Grade: 91
Past Seasons: S38-94, S39-98

At 19 is Dragons goaltender Richard C. Hocolate of the Dragons, getting his first top-20 finish with a 27-14-4 season where he posted a .916 save percentage and 2.50 goals against average. C. Hocolate has taken some time to get to his game, and surprisingly enough needed to wait until after his regression began to actually start performing like a starting goaltender should.

18. (S31) D (West Kendall Platoon) - Ludwig Koch Schröder || +14
Grade: 91.20
Past Seasons: S33-98, S34-92, S35-82, S36-71, S37-11, S38-32, S39-32

At 18 is Ludwig Koch Schröder, enjoying the first 50 point season as a member of the Platoon. Schröder had a few seasons of growing pains with his new team, scoring fewer than 40 points in the first two seasons, but was able to get back to his game with a career high 17 goals and 50 points, while maintaining a solid defensive game and physical one as well.

17. (S27) D (Texas Renegades) - Lord Vader || -5
Grade: 91.30
Past Seasons: S35-49, S36-32, S37-17, S38-29, S39-12

At 17 is Lord Vader of the Texas Renegades, falling back a few spots, but maintaining a spot in the top-20. Vader has started to get some real consistency going, scoring 14 goals and 44 points, as well as registering yet another 100+ hit season, making him one of the most formidable defenders in the league, even if it hasn't resulted in a Stevens Trophy.

16. (S25) C (Texas Renegades) - Jack Durden || +3
Grade: 91.90
Past Seasons: S30-76, S31-24, S32-37, S33-33, S34-38, S35-20, S36-15, S37-15, S38-20, S39-19

At 16 is Jack Durden of the Renegades, with another top-20 finish where he scored 19 goals and 50 points, the second 50 point season in a row. We talk about consistent players, but Durden is consistent and does so at an elite level. In the last 9 seasons he has scored 40+ points, scoring 50+ points in five of them. He never has had the major dominant season you see from some, but you don't see many players boast so many seasons so close to the 50 point mark in a row.

15. (S30) D (Hamilton Steelhawks) - Ben Dover || -9
Grade: 92
Past Seasons: S33-88, S34-34, S35-62, S36-29, S37-30, S38-5, S39-6

At 15 is Ben Dover of the Steelhawks, out of the top-10 but still scoring at a very good clip, with 11 goals and 40 points on the year, and boasting the best plus minus of his career with a +22 season. Dover has been criticized for sometimes being a one-trick pony offensively, but even so is consistent enough to where he is one of Hamilton's best players and one of the best defenders in the league in recent seasons.

14. (S33) LW (Hamilton Steelhawks) - Zanarkand Abes || +54
Grade: 92.30
Past Seasons: S39-68

At 14 is Zanarkand Abes of the Steelhawks, who is getting into his game with a dominant 24 goals and 54 points on the season, keeping up his two-way game and doing so playing lots of special teams time. The one question is if he can do so consistently and be a major threat in the league as he enters his prime.

13. (S31) D (Buffalo Stampede) - Alexis Metzler || +22
Grade: 92.80
Past Seasons: S38-44, S39-35

At 13 is Alexis Metzler of the Stampede, whose recent play has been incredibly reliable and is looking to be the player the Stampede looks to as they inject youth into the system and need someone to guide them to greatness. Metzler scored 10 goals and 48 points, his third 40+ point season in a row, and his first positive plus minus season with a +1.

12. (S31) LW (West Kendall Platoon) - Trevor Wilson || +27
Grade: 93.4
Past Seasons: S37-82, S38-56, S39-39

At 12 is Trevor Wilson of the Platoon, taking no time to get used to his new team and scoring 24 goals and 51 points, looking to be primed and ready to dominate the league and enjoy his first top-10 finish next season. Wilson has been all over the ice in recent years, and West Kendall is going to be happy with him if they can keep him long-term.

11. (S31) RW (Manhattan Rage) - Ace Redding || +5
Grade: 93.50
Past Seasons: S34-78, S35-42, S36-8, S37-8, S38-15, S39-16

At 11 is Ace Redding of the Rage, having a bit of a resurgence, back to scoring 50+ points. Adding on the 27 goals which is only second to his 36 goal season back in S35, Redding is proving that he still has more room to grow and could be an MVP candidate right up until he starts to regress, and even maybe after that.

Alonzo Garbanzo Final Tallies (Among Defensemen):

10. (S32) LW (Manhattan Rage) - Luke Atmey || +11
Grade: 93.60
Past Seasons: S34-93, S36-51, S37-14, S38-8, S39-21

<div align="center">[Image: PWI4dJM.png]</div>

The first player in the top-10 is Luke Atmey of the Manhattan Rage, his second top-10 finish and second in the last three seasons. Atmey has been dominant in recent seasons, not taking a specific season to completely dominate the league, but with four 50+ point seasons in the last five (with a 46 point season mixed in), Atmey has been about as good as you can get for a player of his skillset. He even took the opportunity in S39 to make a career high in hits with 114, making this his best two-way season ever.

Alonzo Garbanzo Final Tallies (Among Defensemen):

9. (S29) LW (Minnesota Chiefs) - Sebastian Strange || -8
Grade: 94.10
Past Seasons: S33-31, S34-59, S35-74, S36-40, S37-22, S38-6, S39-1
<div align="center">[Image: JqaQHKr.png]</div>

At number 9 is Sebastian Strange, falling off his perch as the top player in the world. Strange still was a top-tier competitor on the ice, sacrificing some of his offensive contributions for the good of the team, leading to the team's first Challenge Cup victory since S12. Strange scored 21 goals and 51 points, registered 218 shots, and still kept up his defensive and physical play. While no longer the man on top, he is still one of the best players in the league right now.

Alonzo Garbanzo Final Tallies (Among Defensemen):
2nd in Goals (208), All-Time Assists Leader (765)*, All-Time Points Leader (973), 3rd in Hits (2587), All-Time Blocked Shots Leader (1882)*

8. (S31) C (San Francisco Pride) - Geronimo Otto || +28
Grade: 95.10
Past Seasons: S36-90, S38-69, S39-36
<div align="center">[Image: n3nYZ23.png]</div>

At number 8 is Geronimo Otto, his first top-10 finish, jumping up 28 spots after a 23 goal, 50 point season. Defensively he had some struggles compared to last season, and wasn't as dominant offensively with 8 fewer points on the season, but due to showing consistency and scoring 20+ goals two seasons in a row, he has received some recognition. It is certainly likely that Otto was a little bit underrated in S39, but this response looks to have proven himself as a top-tier talent.

Alonzo Garbanzo Final Tallies (Among Defensemen):
2nd in Goals (208), All-Time Assists Leader (765)*, All-Time Points Leader (973), 3rd in Hits (2587), All-Time Blocked Shots Leader (1882)*

7. (S32) RW (Minnesota Chiefs) - Terrance Nova || +8
Grade: 96.20
Past Seasons: S34-83, S35-28, S36-36, S37-56, S38-24, S39-15
<div align="center">[Image: cJPDDxR.png]</div>
Coming in at number 7 is Terrance Nova, also his first time in the top-10, also showing some consistency despite not having quite the season he had previously. Nova, like Strange before him, has been incredibly versatile and productive offensively, leading to a lot of regular season success. However, in S39 he revamped his game somewhat, playing better defensively and not being so aggressive, leading to a still productive season with 23 goals (the 6th 20+ goal season in a row) and 47 points, but a more well-rounded game, which led to major post-season success.

Alonzo Garbanzo Final Tallies (Among Defensemen):
2nd in Goals (208), All-Time Assists Leader (765)*, All-Time Points Leader (973), 3rd in Hits (2587), All-Time Blocked Shots Leader (1882)*
