I know there's math involved that I'm not doing right now. Haha.
That's the question. Is it worth trading the escort for the alpha? And are we sure the wolves chose to eat someone. That's what the escort has to decide
Sorry guys I wasn't around last night and just caught up on the thread now... Got too busy working on new forum stuff and playing pubg.
I don't think the wolves would choose to not kill someone, it's always better for them to eat someone, so whoever escort is, they know who the alpha is now. That being said, we should be careful here and not have them reveal themselves publicly. Ideally we confirm another villagers role then we can do some magic with PMs. What I'm thinking is we get one confirmed villager, then all the village PMs them, they can anonymously release information and no one will know where it came from.

If you keep the alpha, you can effectively stop 50% of kills until the escort dies. So time might better be spent trying to figure out who the other wolves are, but at the same time, its a sure thing to hang the alpha

True. I find it hard to believe the wolves didn't go for a kill right away. I have to go into the lab now, hopefully the escort lets us know. Seems like the move.

One more angle on this, the lookout/escort can catch an alpha, they can't catch a regular wolf. Still, tough choice.
I actually don’t think the escort played any factor into what happened last night. Durden would have given us a hint as to why the wws didn’t attack. I’ve missed a few games here and there but Durden sprinkles a hint as to what happens and last night he didn’t say anything.
While it is advantageous for the wws to eat someone every night, I don’t think they even tried to eat anyone last night.

Durden does do that, and I got mad at him for it last game lol, maybe he's changed how he's doing it? Last game was SO easy for the village, it was overkill. The hints all the time were a big part of that.
