I was so happy that I could get two tickets to see the Vancouver Canadians play. I decided to take the Glorious Vancouver Whalers Gm Teddy Phelps. I think that we had a fun time hanging out together. I mean who would expect a goalie to invite his GM to see a game with him. We went to see the Vancouver Canadians play at the Nat Bailey Stadium. We had a great time. The Vancouver Canadians had won by 4 runs. We ended up having a couple of beers. After the game was over, we got to stay and talk to a couple of the Vancouver Canadian players, which was a lot of fun, since we don't get to talk to other sports teams all that often. After we talked, for a little bit, we were invited to their team dinner as special guests, They paid for our dinner, and after that was over, we hung out with them some more. When the night was finally over, we headed back to our hotel, and went into our rooms to get some rest before the next big game day.

Even though we are technically closer to the Rangers, I was actually invited to a Houston Astros game. Since the premise of the day was to bring in future players from all the Texas teams, I decided to give Daniel Karlsson a call. Dan is another defensive prospect in the Renegades system, and rumor has it he is going to be my linemate once we both make it to the big leagues. I had never watched baseball before, since baseball is not very popular in Russia. Thankfully, Dan was able to try to explain some of the rules to me, and he even saved me from getting hit by some sort of pheasant ball. We also got to see the world series trophy that the Astros had won this past season, although it doesn't seem to be much of a world series if all of the teams but one are American. I had a great time though, and they told me that I can come throw the first pitch for a game once I get called up, and maybe again if we win our own trophy.

In a trip he made recently to Dallas to help acclimatize himself with the city and its layout ahead of his impending move there, Daniel Karlsson decided to take in a Dallas Cowboys game alongside his fellow prospect and good friend Mikhail Petrikov. Daniel actually spent a lot of his formative years in the city as his father played for the Renegades and so the "preparation" element of the trip was kinda defunct, but Dallas is Daniel's city and so he was happy to take any excuse to go there, and as a massive football fan, any trip without taking in a game would be an unsuccessful one. The Cowboys faced off against divisional rivals, the New York Giants in a close game but ultimately, Eli Manning and the Giants were able to get their noses ahead and beat the Cowboys in the game's final drive. Despite the result, it was a an enjoyable day all round, and one that should help the two prospects out when it comes time for them to suit up together next season.
