Your GM is neither a member of Buffalo, part of HO, or appearing to be significantly offended by the nature of the message but rather the user behind it. Seems either like a personal vendetta or advantageous on Symms part.

I am in favour of this suspension even though it affects my team, because I have this incredibly rare ability of being able to put aside my personal bias and look at it objectively.... Something other people appear to have trouble doing.

The intent of this suspension. like any other, is to try and get the player to change. Stopping kit from posting on the forum for 2 weeks doesn't stop him. He gets a suspension that's his fault and unfortunately for his team carries repercussions for them. Such are the consequences. Maybe next kit time kit stops to think before he hurts his team.
