if someone like rindie or someone with lower tpe or a lower role on this team posted that, HO would likely give them a posting ban

HO isn't being soft because they don't like pointless personal attacks of individuals that aren't related at all to the league, other the parties involved being on the site.

In case you guys forgot, this is a fucking hockey sim, not 4chan. Trash talk is rarely related to how a member performs in any sort of relation to the sim, it's purely bullshit arguments because people don't like each other.

There is no world in which you absolutely NEED to use racial or otherwise derogatory slurs to promote yourself in a hockey sim. Just don't fucking do it? Members who've been around as long as they have must've aged somewhat. Stop acting like 12 year olds who think it's cool to be 'edgy' by saying stupid shit.

Just look at any sort of controversial thread. It's the same people on the 'edgy' side, and the same people on the 'white knighting' side. It's also a VERY SMALL part of the population. All you do is alienate new members or people who don't see the point in unnecessarily argumentative behaviour that doesn't add to the site.

I am in favour of this suspension even though it affects my team, because I have this incredibly rare ability of being able to put aside my personal bias and look at it objectively.... Something other people appear to have trouble doing.

All I've done is defend the suspension for a repeat offender breaking a rule in a very obvious way. There's no one to blame but kit for this. He made the comments.

Hey Head Office guys, honestly, good job on handing out a suspension and combatting the issue. It's important that we eliminate hateful words from our vocabulary, especially when they affect so many so often.

I work with students who have been called retarded their entire life, I work with kids who can't even change their clothes or communicate independently yet still contemplate suicide.

I know my boy kit was making a joke, it was actually one I guiltally laughed at, but you chose to not take it lightly, and I respect that as long as you use this as precedent and communicate it better so that the first thing we should do is intervene and teach rather than punish.

As for buffalo boys fighting this suspension, go to bed pleasr. Daddy Karey is tired of your notifications and I'm trying to bang Mama Finn but y'all makin this really hard.

I've reread everything you've written so far and I've lightened up on it. It just really looked like you were beating up on this guy because 1. You didn't like him or 2. You wanted him suspended for personal gain.

Mental Health issues aren't taken seriously enough. I am glad they reacted appropriately even if it was in a joking manner. I doubt this truly hurts Buffalo this season and it sets a precedence. You seem like a great dude, Karey. Keep on keepin' on.

We just need more people to take mental healthy seriously and no assume it's not as bad as it really can be. Doesn't matter if you suffer from depression, autism, asperger's, or hundreds of other disabilities that range from bad to horrifying. You deserve the respect of your peers. World needs more love and less hatred. This instance might be one fueled by hate but it definitely mocks those who truly do suffer and I hope it helps kit learn a lesson. I know he's still fairly young and these are all learning moments.

Keep talking more shit, go ahead and get suspended again. Do more harm to your team. Feel free. Or you could actually try and be a decent human being and not do that. Try maybe caring about your teammates, and not putting them in a bad spot getting yourself suspended? That's what a player suspension is supposed to do. You hurt more people than just you.

They'd probably give them a posting ban because they aren't a repeat offender. Your last suspension is still on the first page of the suspensions forum. Repeat offenders are punished more harshly.
