Ya I wouldnt want to miss the playoffs this way. Plus tight playoff races are good for the league creates some hatred and activity on the forums.

Also GMs have no impact on suspensions. Also I feel like Teddy,Crutch and Formy would make decisions that is best for the league not for Hamilton. They are good guys and care about the well-being of this league a lot.

The logic of a suspension works if you care about being a good teammate. You doing this maybe costs Buffalo a playoff spot, and with it good people like WBF, Tomen, karey, etc all suffer because of it. Next time, think of who else a player suspension effects. A temporary posting ban doesn't have that effect. A player suspension should make you think next time about who else is effected by the consequences of your actions.
