Ya the wkp finals game he simmed was fun. It'd be good for the playoffs occasionally

I was thinking we get a team of 4 simmers that sim 4 to 3 games a week each. That means each team is guaranteed at least one game a week. Stream it on twitch. I'd do it without pay as a trial run but would need ArGar's help getting it setup the first time.

while its an enjoyable to watch, the goal scoring is random.. you have no idea if your players doing well or stinking it up... that takes away from it a bit. is there a way to have the right people scoring the goals? or after a goal can the person running it call out who scored and got the assists?

If we did try to do this and I was involved I'd definitely try to make it more robust than it is now. Apparently formx used to mod it? If that's true then I could definitely try to figure some stuff out.

Also like I said somewhere else in the thread (it’s been well buried by now) that kind of an idea was something I immediately suggested but was a nonstarter for the other leagues, which makes sense.

If the ratings are right the goal scoring isn't nearly as random.

While I think it's a game-focused and money-driven sim with no focus on individual players, the SFL is smart in their 0 work involved TPE gain. it's show up, post, allocate/wait a week to allocate. It's smart in the fact that they have one of the higher player gain and rentention rates, they've been growing, and we need to figure out how to incorporate more people, not make people have to pick.

I wonder if there's a way to create scripted sequences, force the sim to have hits, fights, goals, etc. at specific times? I need to look into this stuff some time this week.

This is a great point and something that should be looked into. Allot of us forget them first few seasons and reading about our team mates and draft mates and getting to learn and grow comfortable with them. It may not be all that important now, but it was a piece of the puzzle in getting to this point.

if were doin this it's probably good to go all in and not confuse people saying we're affiliated, then not let them have affiliate benefits all the time... like NSFL not letting you claim on Sundays was enough to stop me from sticking around after they affiliated with the baseball league.
