Well then, what you got to find is the stuff that works for you individually. Like for me as an example, I find multijoint movements are key for both my progressing in size and strength. My workouts are laced with squat variations, deadlifts, cleans and its variations, and bench.

I gotta learn the proper technique for deadlifts and cleans. Sure that would help a bit.

I usually try fewer reps but with a very high weight.

Usually I go 10, 8, 6, 4/10 (depending on if I hit my other numbers, I'll go 10 if I didn't to make up).

But I read something to get my arms bigger and it said to go lotsa reps on biceps/triceps.

I don't have a spotter so I don't like doing heavy weight, plus I feel like my form isn't good when trying to lift more weight for less reps.

this. I'm scared to lift over a certain weight because I don't have a spotter.

r u a big guy^ like do u want cut or mass

I have a pretty skinny build. I feel like a weigh more (178) than I look. My arms are kinda long and too skinny (think Rondo).

I'm kinda shooting more for mass I guess right now.

Yeah, I usually cut out a couple reps early just because my last two or three take a lot to get up (only for bench though).

I feel like bar curls helped my arms more than bicep iso curls.

Try those as well (do both), they really helped me.

And then take the rope (that you use for tricep pull down), move the cable down to the floor, grab the handles and pull up towards your face.

That is another good one for biceps.

Eh..I can't do that. Makes me feel like I'm cheating myself. So I just push through it, no matter how hard.

Working out with someone else is great though. Wanting to do better than them and not wanting to like embarrass yourself in front of someone else. Really works. Like at football workouts last year, I got stuck lifting with some older kid and my buddy. I was lifting like 15-20 over my max because I didn't wanna look like a pussy, lol.

This is one of the better videos for trying to learn it. Practice with very light weight as well.

Also, a spotter is basically a must. I work out with the same buddy that I have been for about 4-5 years now.
