Why Not To Draft These Guys

So with it being double media payout for this year’s draftees we have seen a lot of articles written about their strengths and what makes them standout. This is going to be different. Here I am going to call out their weaknesses so managers can know the real truth about what they’re getting. Too much fluff is written and half of the players never end up living up to the potential. I will say I love everyone so if this makes you sad just message me and I can send you a personal heartwarming message.

So let’s go through the list of prospects and starting with the earliest created and working our way through to the newest.

1: Alexander Selich – Created by @Tomen

Ok well Selich is already sitting at 195 TPE and was created Sept 29th so they have a nice lead on their other draftees. But all that tells me is they can’t compete on even grounds and need to start early to try and stand out. This player is listed as 6’10 and 280 pounds but after the draft combine strength tests we found out that they only have about 45 strength. This player is basically a blob of fat on skates. With conditioning like this at such a young age Selich has got to concern many GM’s. Sure there is a chance he starts working out at some point but when asked to do a pullup he simply pulled his jogging pants over the crack of his exposed ass. When the trainer pointed to the bar and said “lift yourself up” Selich replied “Verpiss dich” in his native tongue. We are not sure what the German said but he walked away without doing a single pullup. Buyer beware!

2: Mika Mayfield – Created by @BadWolf

Here we have Mika Mayfield who calls themselves a Two-Way Forward. Listed at 5’8 and 165 they are already stronger than Selich by quite a lot which is good to see. But this player is so small and doesn’t know how to check. With only 40 points in checking they are going to be getting knocked around out there. Not to mention the fact that they seem to run out of gas very fast! At the combine lung tests they were dying after a few minutes and with only 51 Endurance I really don’t see how they can compete in a full 60 minute game. They might have a solid 20 minute first period but expect Mayfield to really go to bed after that.

3: Hiro Fujikawa – Created by @Marley

Here we have Japanese forward Fujikawa from Fukuoka Japan. A real hockey hotbed of talent Japan is, right? Wrong. Japan doesn’t make good hockey players. There I said it! This player can score with 80 in Scoring already but he is 200 pounds at not even 18 years old but none of it is muscle. They have 40 strength and I don’t think I have ever seen this “Hiro” make a pass. When the last time I caught his practice session he demanded that any puck leaving his stick must be a shot on goal or he would not let it go. You might be able to work on him if you draft him to get that passing game up but it’s unlikely. This looks like a problem player right here but some GM will risk it.

4: Yannis Kanter – Created by @The Ageless Wonder

Well what do we have here? A winger from Czech Republic that is clearly on steroids. 6’5 and 225 pounds and he is not even a man yet? Someone check his piss. He has 59 strength so he isn’t as weak as most of the kids listed so far. But this dude is a joke in his own end of the ice. 56 Defense? Wow you are asking for trouble! How can you call yourself a Two-Way Forward and be so bad in your own end? What are your Two-Ways? Offense and Bench? He has been spending some time working on his faceoffs lately which seems silly as a winger. Why not spend more time working on your defensive game? I really think this Kanter has some legal issues with the steroids heading his way so teams that want to avoid that bad press should look elsewhere.

5: Big Troy – Created by @Bostonboy2113

Here we have Big Troy. That’s right his parents actually named him “Big”. This Canadian monster is listed at 6’6 230 pounds. First with hippie parents you always need to be careful because this guy might go off the rails at any time. He is listed as an offensive forward but this huge chunk of a man literally can’t skate. His skating is listed as a 40 and I’ve seen small children skate circles around him. He says skating is one of his strengths but you have got to be joking me? The league is moving faster and faster each year and I am just worried Big Troy will be chasing the play the whole game. If he learns to skate you could have something here but good luck!

6: Samuel Jalopski – Created by @ThatDamnWalrus

Here we have the first defenseman created for the draft. Jalopski prides himself in being a Two-Way defenseman. I would call them more of a Two-Pizza Defenseman. They are 240 pounds but I don’t see any muscle on their whole body. They have 40 strength and endurance. They are weak and don’t ask them to move very far because they will be tired within seconds on the ice. Samuel grew up in Saskatchewan but it’s clear it wasn’t on a farm. I think his parents owned a McDonalds. That would explain things better. He is good in his own zone but if it was up to him I don’t think he would ever leave it.

7: Kenji Yoshimura – Created by @BigTittySmitty

What the hell? Another player from Japan? This guy is from Tokyo and there must be something in the water over there. This is a center who is pretty damn small. 5’11 in a draft full of 7 foot tall monsters. For such a small guy I would expect higher than 50 skating but he is just clumsy on his feet out there. His brain is moving faster than his legs and he has a really hard time putting the puck in the net. Sure he can pass and yes his face offs are solid but this guy is just so average in so many ways. He has 55 points in 3 different stats…make a choice buddy.

8: Scott Sterling – Created by @HockeyBoy2

Another Canadian makes the list here with good old Scott Sterling. If you ask him he calls himself a Playmaker. So he must be a great passer right? WRONG! This guy has 40 passing. His build is just crazy with 40 in Skating, Strength, Face Offs, Passing, scoring and Defense! Who does he think he is! 74 Puck Handling? 66 Discipline? This is one of the oddest players I have come across in my scouting years and I am at a loss for words. He can fight and has 64 points in fighting. I honestly think this guy is just out there to hurt people in a legal environment so he doesn’t go to jail.

9: Maxime Bouchard – Created by @Weretarantula

I know these players are young and have room to grow but when someone at this age has only 40 Endurance it’s hard to take them seriously. Young players should be like energizer bunnies and good to play deep into games without it being an issue. This Canadian is okay at passing and scoring but if the puck ends up in their zone…look out. 50 Defense is just not going to cut it in any league. This is one of those lazy players that just wants to play Power Play and pad as many offensive stats as they can. Back check? They haven’t heard of it.

10: Tomy LeeNing – Created by @zØdiac

Sniper right wing from Latvia with a defense weakness. I have written a lot about defense and I know everyone likes to score but if you aren’t good in your own zone you might not get a chance to score. This 6’3 195 pounder has a lot of work to do in the gym as well. With 45 strength it seems like all they do to train is shoot the puck over and over. Yes 80 Scoring is nice but this seems to be a one trick pony! Managers who are looking at this player are going to need to talk to him first and see if he is willing to be more of a team player. Right now they seem like a power play specialist at best but to be a high draft pick they need to do more!

11: Yannis Kanter – Created by @The Ageless Wonder

Looks like the same guy re-made a new player just a couple days later. This one is from the UK. Stats are bit different but I will skip him.

12: Alex Henry – Created by Alex Henry

Here we have a Swedish born Right Winger who shoots left. I don’t know what they are feeding children in Sweden but this kid is already 6’6 and 245 pounds. Apparently they aren’t feeding protein as he is as weak as they come. 40 strength is just pathetic for a “Power” Forward. What kind of Power do you have? Well shooting seems to be his strength but with only 40 in the Skating department I don’t know how he will ever be in the action. As with the other players he is so young and has a lot of time to develop so he might work out in the long run. It would help if he hits the gym a bit and learns to play in his own zone.

13: William Goose – Created by @polan70

From the UK we meet the Goose. William Goose. Sure he has a great name but we need to look deeper when drafting players into the SMJHL. So his build seems very spread out and he has listed himself as a playmaking Right Wing. His major weakness right now is Endurance, the book on this kid is that he doesn’t really do anything amazingly well. He just is decent across the board and gets tired in the third period. He can pass the puck decently well but the 5’11 winger will need to keep developing for a couple years before he is ready for the big show of the SHL.

14: Marshal Ray – Created by @Dadgame

Center ice man Marshal Ray from the good ol’ USA. This guy is listed at 6’1 280 pounds. I don’t even need to look at his picture to know he is THICK! 280 pounds already? How does he fit in his skates? He really struggles to handle the puck in the offensive zone even though he is listed as a Playmaker. He does pass well but his shot is trash and his Endurance lacks a lot to be loved. Defense is what he is known for at this point in his early career but he needs to work on his offense to be a junior star. As a center he could hit the gym to really help him win all those puck battles as well.

15: Gareth Rush – Created by @Rush

I think this is the first Irish player on the board so far and he is a center who is all about offense. Unfortunately as most of us know, if you can’t defend well in this league you are in for a tough night. This guy sucks at defense. 40 points is just way too low. Yes he can put the puck in the net but  he needs to get it first. He comes out like an energizer bunny in the first period but with only 40 endurance by the second period this guy is ducking his head down on the bench hoping not to be called next by the coach. He will have to keep working on his overall game as a center because you really need to help in your own zone.

16: Griffith Cadwalader – Created by @Ferdy

The United Kingdom brings us another hockey player this year which is odd. This dude is a Two-Way forward which sounds great to GM’s. They are looking for players who are good at both ends of the rink. But wow this guy couldn’t score a goal if his life depended on it. 40 scoring? Rough… His defense is pretty solid which turns me on but 40 strength is just way too weak. Sure he is playing in a league of junior players but some of these kids now are just monsters out there and this small forward at 182 pounds needs to beef it up.

17: Marc-Antoine – Created by @MapTHEking90

Defensive Defenseman from Canada Pepin shoots left and is small as can be. 5’8 (might be a lie he looks more like 5’6 in person) and 160 pounds. But don’t let that fool you this kid is actually strong as fuck and can check. 70 Checking and 60 strength at this level is very solid. He is just basically an offensive nightmare. He can’t skate worth a crap at 48 overall and his Scoring being down at 43 means he would rather dump the puck into the corner than take a shot from the slot. He wants to focus on his own zone and leave the hard work of offense to everyone else. There’s a roll for someone like him on some teams but he needs to keep working harder to be a bit better at both ends of the rink.

18: Elias Hughes – Created by @nykonax

Elias Hughes another player from Sweden checks in next on the list and this dude is an offensive defenseman which seem to be more rare. He has solid passing and scoring at 60 each with 71 defense that I love. But we are here to shit on the players so let’s point out how crappy his Endurance is. Most defense need to play big minutes as there is only 6 of them and he has 40 Endurance? Good luck getting the coaches trust with that! This guy looks pretty solid but nothing about him flashes. I want more sparkle with my players!

19: Bobrice Gainergeron – Created by @IMHuge

So Bobrice Gainergeron is one of the most common names we see in hockey. But Bobrice stands out in other ways like the fact that he is 6’9 260 pounds. What a monster Power Forward! Let’s look at his stats shall we! 40 Passing and 40 Scoring…is this guy a goalie?? Wow he has 60 puck handling so he can dangle a bit but when it comes to making a choice with the puck to pass or shoot…it doesn’t matter what he picks it will be shitty. He is strong and can check and play defense so without the puck he could do some damage but just don’t let him touch the puck.

20: Konstantin Voloshin – Created by @InciteHysteria

Latvian Sniper Voloshin loves to score with 70 points there before his draft day he is always a threat to put the puck in the net. But this dude is just another one of these weak boys. 41 Strength is just puny and don’t get me started on 40 endurance? Obviously this guy hasn’t ever played big minutes before and he will fall apart if you ask him to. He might give you 5 minutes a night but when has that ever been enough for anyone? He needs to hit the gym and eat his veggies if he wants to be a star in this league one day. For now he will help a team in need as a bottom 6 guy but don’t ask for more.

21: Arsène Arsenich – Created by @Kris

Wow back to back Latvians! 6 foot 3 205 pounds of not much muscle here we have Right Wingers Arsenich! This two-way forward prides himself on his defensive game with 70 points there but let’s point out the shit. 55 Skating is just too slow nowadays to keep up with the play. He will be alright without the puck if the play is in front of him but if it gets by him, look out. 45 strength just shows you how most of these kids are just really weak compared to the men of the SHL or even 2nd or 3rd year SMJHL players. He will need to work on these stats to really be a stud.

22: Aidan Guyett – Created by @SpaceForGames

Canadian offensive forward Aidan Guyett says he is all about offense but he really means passing. The dude can pass at 61 but what about shooting? 41…Wow what a joke. He really can’t put the puck in the net and he is mostly a playmaker. To label yourself an offensive forward you really should be able to score at least a little. Overall he has a solid build but we are looking for stars in the making not middle of the pack Guyetts. If you draft a project like him you will need to get him a skills coach ASAP and have him work on shooting all day and all night.

23: Jeffrey Murphy – Created by @Waldo

This guy was recruited by Keygan who I love so I won’t be so hard on him. But he is trash. Power Forward’s just love to spend time in the offensive zone but what happens if they end up in their own? Well this guy has 40 defense. 40 is just lame and not a great place to be. He can score and he knows it but his skating is 40 as well. How is that possible to make it to this level and skate like that? I haven’t seen such bad feet in years and Murphy really needs to round out his game soon. The SMJHL has a lot of 350 capped players who will make you look silly.

24: Cash Considerations – Created by @LB.

Defenseman from Portland that plays for Latvia in international play. He is a Two-Way Dman that loves money. He really screams “average” he just has his points spread out everywhere but has no stat above 65. He is a project player without any real strength. But also not many weaknesses. He won’t excite many people in his rookie year so that sucks. Maybe down the road he will have a solid 350 build but right now he is just basic.

25: Leopold Lockhart – Created by @ej27

Well I have a son named Leo so I love this guy already. But we aren’t here for my usual love fest. I am here to make people cry and this Offensive Defenseman is just another everyday average bum. No flashy stats at all. He has nothing over 65 and wants to be a jack of all trades. But a master of none. Master something please! You are so busy being middle of the pack at everything you are too scared to be a star. He has some potential I am not going to lie but he needs more confidence and to add up some pounds to his 6’3 frame.

26: Dominic Montgomery – Created by @bilbo

USA has a lot of players on the list and they are always good at making more athletes. 6’1 and 205 pounds but he can’t shoot. That’s right this guy has 55 shooting and yes he is more of a passing defenseman but what is with this trend? Why don’t any defenseman like to score anymore? It’s fun to put the puck in the net Montgomery you should try it sometime! This guy continues the trend of average players who love to spread their skills around but don’t really spend much time specializing in anything.

27: Nolan Sawchuk – Created by @Jepox

Iceland is not a country I know much about at all. But here we are 188 pounds of  Icelandic muscle in Sawchuk.  I feel like I am being pranked now as again we have one of the most average dudes in the draft. Where are all the studs? This guy has no stats about 65. Nothing to be excited about here. His passing is really trash at 55 but he has time to work on it. He likes to shoot first and handle the puck. He won’t make fans jump out of their seats so why draft him?

28: Misha Paketovich – Created by @Boulecul

Power Forward Russian who hates skating. This guy has 45 in skating and it seems like he just wants to sit at the hashmarks and be fed the puck all day. He can shoot I am not going to lie but what good is a great shot if you can’t get to the right places to shoot? His passing is 50 and he hates having to use that skill at all. Don’t try and take the puck from him because he can’t play well without it. His defense at 55 will need to be worked on a lot and I know whatever team takes him will have him working a lot in practice with the coaching team. This dude is more of a power play specialist but not much else.

29: Guy McCool – Created by @guy3801

This guy is Guy. Guy comes from Canada and is a playmaker who has a checking weakness. He is working on that stat though which is surprising. He has 50 skating and strength and his legs are like spaghetti noodles. He is listed at 200 pounds but it’s all in his belly and this dude loves to eat but isn’t strong. He really needs to hit some squats if he wants to be a threat in this league one day. With 55 defense he also struggles without the puck and he needs to play in a good scheme to have success. Guy, son of cool has a lot of work to do but he might work out.

30: Shooter McGavin – Created by @ShooterMcGavin

Here we have a second Mc name in a row. Mc or Mac means son if you didn’t know. Shooter, Son of Gavin is another American and he is a Sniper. Like a lot of snipers he doesn’t know shit about playing defense. 55 defense? What is that? 70 Scoring can only take you so far Shooter. But this guy is living up to his name. He loves to shoot. He is average in most other areas but being below average in defense is not impressive anymore. This is 2018 man everyone eats ass. I mean everyone plays defense.

31: Sanyi Kocsis – Created by @daBenchwarmer

Here we have our first Hungary born player on the list with Kocsis! This two-way defenseman is literally scared to shoot the puck. 40 scoring is just pathetic. Yes he can play defense and as a defenseman I figure some managers will be happy with that. He makes decent first passes but with only 45 strength sometimes they get intercepted. He won’t really be a threat on the blue line during a power play as he has no shot so the opposition will know not to bother focusing on him.

32: Ben McBen – Created by @meanderandreturn

Ben son of Ben. Wow what a shocker this guy is from USA! Who would have thought! Play making forward who loves to pass. As long as the pass is close to him. He is very weak at 45 strength so don’t ask him to pass it far. Also this is another forward who thinks he is too good to play defense! 55 defense is just asking to be feasted on in this league. He also only has 45 endurance which means his 205 pound frame gets tired fast and easy. He has to work on his 200 foot game and conditioning but you never know who will turn out in this league.

33: Tim Phieffer – Created by @alittlelouder

Right wing German Power Forward Phieffer puts the F in Forward. They love to play offense but please don’t ask them to back check. They have 46 defense and how many times do I gotta say how shitty that is? Please learn to play in your own zone if you want to be a real stud. Also his skating is a concern for me as he only has 50 points there. He is pretty well rounded outside of this but dude move your feet! This is a new age of hockey and if you can’t skate you can’t play. Managers will have to spend a lot of time making this German feel at home in North America.

34: Andreas Kvalheim – Created by @raymond3000

Norway born Left Wing monster Kvalheim stands 6’4 and 203 pounds already. Here we have a two-way forward who is solid in his own zone but for someone so big he is weak as can be. 40 strength is just sad now and it’s a wonder how this beast from Trondheim could be such a pushover? He is pretty average across the board but aside from his strength he needs to work on his Endurance as well. This guy just needs to spend more time in the gym and less time playing Fortnight if he wants to be a star for years to come.

35: Evan Dale – Created by @Ironbucker

So many Americans so here is another. Dale is a Two-Way forward and he really likes to pass. But he has two major weaknesses we can crap on. First is 40 Scoring. This is so low and he really needs to get better at finishing. It’s nice to pass but if you can’t finish you can’t win. Work on that shot friend and you will be a coaches friend. You can skate like the wind with 80 skating but 40 strength is just not enough. You will get pushed all over the place and lose the puck. It’s a long road to the top but you gotta put it more work to be a star.

36: Patrick Stevely – Created by @Rikplaysbass

USA again! I am sick of all these Americans! I love Americans but this is just getting crazy. Good luck making their world junior squad! Here we have another defenseman that hates shooting. What else is new? What is the problem with scoring goals? 40 scoring just tells me his shot is a muffin and he doesn’t want to get better at it. Yes he can make good strong passes but this 180 pounder needs to have a shot from the point to make other teams scared. He is pretty average across the board but with a puck handling weakness he will be passing all the time as he is scared of having the puck on his own stick.

37: Cam Takinson – Created by @laxgamer125

Wonder where this bro is from? Let me guess. AMERICA! Of Course! Offensive Forward who loves to shoot and is okay at passing. He is pretty average across the board and loves having 60 points in his skills but isn’t much of a star at anything. He won’t sell many jerseys. Defense defense defense, how many timeis do I have to say it. 55 is just not enough friend. Please know that this league is filled with 350 talent and they are just waiting to play against players with small D’s.

38: Nat Emerson – Created by @Thelastheraclid

America fuck ya! Another American checks in next and he is a stay at home Defensive Defenseman. His weakness is scoring so his plan is to always pass first and let someone else do the heavy lifting. Scoring in any league is hard so he has quit trying. Also 40 skating is just really weak. You can’t just sit as a pylon in your own zone the entire game and hope it works out. He can check like crazy with 70 checking I see this dude ending up with a ton of penalty minutes and he could be a liability out there in his rookie year. Keep working on your total game and you might be a star one day.

39: Chuck Freedom – Created by @Nevermore

Am I being pranked? Another AMERICAN!!?? Wow! Well here we have another player similar to Emerson who we just looked at. Defensive defenseman with a scoring weakness.  He has 40 in passing and scoring and just wants to play defense. He says I am a defenseman, it’s what I do. Get someone else to play offense. Like an offenseman. He wants to take you off the puck and let someone else go do everything else. He is listed at 7’2 and 360 pounds so he will at least put butts in the seats to watch this freak show.

40: Donnie Dicks – Created by @Gooney

Ireland is known for hockey and breeding tons of Snipers. Here we have another one to add to the list with Donnie Dicks. The Don is another player that just screams Average. When I look at his stats nothing stands out at all. He has 67 scoring so I guess that makes him a sniper in his mind but he has a lot of work to do to be a star in the SMJHL. He has a lot of stats around the 60 point range but he isn’t a star at anything. I am shitting on all of these players but I have to say I might draft Dicks just for the jersey sales.

41: Richard Williamson – Created by @Rickster0679

Norway born sniper Richard Williamson is a Sniper who loves to score. That being said he isn’t that great at it with only 62 points in scoring. He is really weak at 41 strength and like most of these weaklings will need to spend time in the gym if he wants to be taken seriously in the league one day. Also as a Sniper you think he could handle the puck better but he loses it constantly with only 50 Puck Handling. He needs to work on his hands in general and maybe if he gets stronger he won’t have so many problems losing the puck. Work in progress with this guy.

42: Steven Stanley – Created by @Thatguyfromchi

Another American defenseman that hates scoring. What else is new? What are they putting in the water south of the boarder now? None of these guys want to score anymore. 40 scoring again and he has a puck handling weakness. His puck handling is also 40 and he really just doesn’t want to work on it because it’s very hard for him. With 65 defense he is solid in his own zone and this guy is strong which is a nice surprise around all these weak boys. But he really just wants to camp out in his own zone and break shit up. Don’t ask him to play Power Play but he is always comfortable killing penalties.

43: Andy Kerr – Created by @Snuffalupagus

A good old Canadian Center is up next! Power Forward named Andy Kerr is all about setting up other guys and being hard to play against. He sucks ass at shooting and I have never seen him score once. He has 40 scoring and that’s just pretty damn low. Outside of this he is very average and likes to spend time training everything pretty equally. He is nice and strong but just not that good in the offensive zone. Even his passing is pretty bad for this level with only 55 points right now. He is not a liability out there but he lacks oomph.

44: Ivars Ozols – Created by @hornej10

Latvia brings us another forward tonight and we have Ozols who is a Two-Way forward that sucks at skating. Yes skating is his weakness even though he is a two way player. That makes it hard to cover both ends of the ice. 40 skating is just asking to get burned and he is also pretty damn weak with only 45 strength. He will really need to buff up his legs to be a star. Lots of players want the fun of scoring but don’t put enough hard work in. If he wants to score as much as his 70 stats says he does he will need to round out his game.

45: Cassius Darrow – Created by @hhh81

Germany beefcake Darrow comes in at 6’2 and 220 pounds already. He is a Two-Way defender who like most others this draft, can’t score. He has a scoring weakness and has only 42 points there. A lot of teams want a defender or two who is a threat to score from the point but this draft is not providing them. This guy is great on defense at 70 but his shot is trash. Also with only 49 strength he will need to do a few more curls to make a big impact in the SMJHL. He could be a great playmaker one day just don’t ask him for goals.

46: Slip McScruff – Created by @Scrufdaddy

Now this is getting crazy…we have yet ANOTHER American born defenseman that you guessed it…hates scoring! He has a scoring weakness like so many others and only 40 points there. It seems like everyone wants to mold themselves after some cookie cutter build but no defenseman wants to have the glory of scoring anymore. His skating is also really crappy at 41 he hopes he will mostly just be out there on the penalty kill. He does make solid first passes and is very strong but  until he works on his skating he will have trouble playing important minutes for his team.

47: Donk Lordington – Created by @LordDonkLord

Donk Lordington is one of the best names in the draft but are they good at hockey? No not really. 45 defense is a huge red flag for me. This Canadian born playmaker loves to play in two zones but not his own. He also looks like he has never lifted a weight in his life. They say he is 190 pounds but I think that might be a stretch. At 40 strength he is really weak and lacks the ability to make strong plays. He can skate like the wind but most of the time will just be knocked on his ass.

48: Jakub Novak- Created by @Esso2264

Here we have a small player in the draft from Czech Republic. Two-Way Forward Novak is a scoring star which will make a lot of management happy. 75 scoring at his level is very high and he loves to shoot. But his shot is super weak. He only has 45 strength and sure that’s a bit better than most of the weaklings in the draft but it’s just not enough. Also he can’t handle the puck very well at 55 Puck handling. He is good on the Power Play if you can feed him a perfect pass in the slot but don’t ask him to do the work.

49: Jimmy Cahill – Created by @JLysohirka

Defensive Defenseman again! This guy is born in the UK and prides himself on his defensive game at 75. But what’s with these players who hate to play offense now? 50 passing and 40 scoring? What is that? It seems like the penalty kill is most of these guys favorite place to play. Teams always need defenseman but most of these guys are all the same! Why can’t we see a bit more diversity in the class? He also has 50 endurance which is just not enough on the blue line where you can see big minutes even as a rookie. He has some work to do but he could be great long term.

50: Vegeta Muerto – Created by @Vegeta

Norway born Two-Way Defenseman who hates offense. I don’t know how he calls himself two-way when his scoring and passing are both at 40. That is just complete trash at this level and yes he is great without the puck in his own zone on defense but is that enough? 74 defense is impressive but this guy just seems like he wants to play as much of game as possible in the neutral or defensive zone. Don’t ask him to fit on the power play because he just won’t.

51: Desmond Carey – Created by @junoit

Ireland brings us this next player named Desmond Carey who is a stay at home defenseman…again.
There seems to be a lot of defenseman in this class and they all fucking hate to score. Here is another one with scoring as a weakness and only 40 points there. I feel like a broken record now but yes he is solid on defense with 70 there already. His strength is decent at 50 but could use some work and overall he just blends in with the rest of the defenseman who hate to shoot the puck.

52: Nickolas Klaus – Created by @Noble

Another Norway player here and he is all about offense as an offensive forward. He is really average across the board and his highest stat is 70 scoring which is solid. But most everything else is just average and as a center he needs to work on his face offs. Right now he is at 55 and he will lose a lot against all the star 350 capped players in the league. He has a well-rounded build right now but needs to work on his skills to be a star.  His Endurance at 50 will need to go up as well as centers play real tough minutes and he needs to be counted on late in games.

53: Zivan Zidek – Created by @Samee

6’1 and 199 pounds from the Czech Republic last on the list is double Z Zivan Zidek. He is a playmaker who is a pass first player who can’t score ever. He has 40 scoring like so many players on this list and he is scared to light the lamp. Other than this he is as weak as they come…40 strength? Wow buddy what are you eating? Garbage? Toughen up and we might have a solid play maker here in year 2. As a rookie he will be fine with only 53 Endurance but if he wants the big money minutes late in the game he needs to hit the gym.

So in closing this draft is filled with trash players who hate to score. But I love them all anyway!  Heart

Over 6k words, double money because it's SMJHL draft. Thank you!

"It’s fun to put the puck in the net Montgomery you should try it sometime!" Idk if my mind was supposed to go dirty there, but it did and it made me laugh, ty.
